Pritam has to give two names, one is aapsi sehmati so that must have been Tanna.

Other one his own choice, thats what I heard BB tell him.

Upen is also telling Praneet ki main khush hoon tu captain nahin bana because you are likea kid. That means Praneet was other choice.

people just want to believe that pritam is getting influenced by karishma so they are using any logic to fulfill this theory
