She was fantastic, mind blowing, superb !

Now gimme a break. I read so many neg. Comments and I can't believe it. You guys never appreciate if someone does a good job. MAULIIIIIIIIIIIII was FANTASTICCCCCCCCC.

The way she sang ''Mast'' was mind blowing and it was one of the best performances that night with other good Singers. She totally felt the Song and created a special mood which the Song required. I believe Sumedha wouldn't have been able to do that and Poonam would have been good but not that good if she had sung that Song. And I can't believe people are complaining because she got 10. What abt Sumedha ? She wasn't perfect but got 10 as well.

Maulis version sounded to me as good as the Original one. You could feel the passion...awesome and now if someone tells me that Mauli isn't versatile and she can't sing good then he should go to HELL. Agreed she had a different style but that's the good thing abt her. If Mauli goes out of the show then this sow will get a bit boring. I always look forward to her performance.But for example if Joy leaves or Sumedha I will get used to it after a while but Mauli ...she can't go.

I'm so sorry but I have to say this:

She was in no shape or form singing. All she did was scream into the microphone and luckily for her, it worked for the song this time.

It worked nah You agree. So why complain. If the Song required screaming then she did it and so she was in shape and form singing. I am not getting the problem. But neways she wasn't screaming all the time. If it's so easy then start screaming and look if you can sing as good as she did. Or Scream as good as she did.

Somehow I feel everyone who doesn't like Mauli has something in the mind before her performance ''I am sure I will not like it'' and if she performs good people still speak and say bad things abt her performance.

Well the thing is you see, my voice is as deep as hers and I CAN sing the Mast song like that. Now I cant sing the Mayya Mayya song but the Mast one is pretty easy to sing.

I agree that most people do not like Mauli for reasons other that her singing ability although that just gives people more incentive to dislike her. 😆

And for those who think she was screaming in the song, what about the day when Joy seemed like he was screaming rather than singing. It was a few episodes back when I felt he was more screaming than sining. Don't get me wrong because Joy is a terrific singer. But the day he didn't sing well, the day he was shouting more than singing, no body complained, no body said anything, because maybe they were great fans of his. And when Mauli seems to be shouting rather than singing for just one song everyone starts to bash her? Ok...Whatever. I won't say more on this issue as I know there are too many Mauli haters..and yes I do mean haters. But I respect everyone's opinions. Let me just say please recognize true talent and vote. The rest is up to the janta.

That's really good but if you are a Singer then you should know that the Song isn't easy. I mean Sunidhi hasn't done some kindergarden work there but the most important thing is to create the atmosphere/mood and it's also the most difficult thing and Sunidhi did it very well and Mauli was brilliant as well. Sumedha and Poonam couldn't have done that. And then the Sur thing... I don't have much knowledge abt music but I don't think it's that easy. If you don't mind I would like to hear your version not because I would like to judge who can sing better you or Mauli NO but I am just excited to listen to it as it's one of my fav. Songs.

Exactly people don't like her because she isn't that ''Gharelu'' type of girl you see in those Saas-Bahu serials. She dares to be different but people judge her by her attitude and not singing.

Mauli put her own twist to "Mast" - she made it more "rock" than "pop".

Purists may not like the fact that she deviated from the original, but I actually thought she had a good performance that day. Objectively speaking, she took a risk by making a familiar song different and it paid off, IMO.

Are you talking about "Alvida"?

If so, yes, Joy was screaming because he was trying to imitate James and failing miserably. He still doesn't have enough control over his vocals to attempt a rock version.
