Badlapur based on real incident; haven't signed TFIOS: Varun - Page 4

Varun Dhawan to play a 40-45 year old father in his upcoming movie - Sriram Raghavan's Badlapur and will avenge his wife Yami Gautam's death in the film.

As the young Raghu, Varun is shown a college student who falls in love with Misha (Yami Gautam) and marries her. They have a kid Robin. Incidentally, this will be the first time Varun plays a father on screen. Fifteen years later, he is seen as a brooding man, set to take revenge on people who hurt him and killed his wife.

Varun Dhawan all set to be the youngest actor to play the role of a father in Badlapur which is all set to release on 20^th February 2015.

When a leading daily asked Varun to speak about his role in the film, the actor said-

"I can't go into the specifics, but my character in the revenge drama is a guy working in an ad agency who starts a family. You will see me as a father on the screen for the first time." The actor will be seen playing the role of a character ageing from 18 year old to 40 year old. Badlapur was the second movie signed by Varun Dhawan after Student Of The Year and the actor is pretty confident that people will be shocked looking at his new avatar.

Badlapur is all set to release on 20^th February 2015 and the trailer of the film is all set to be out on 2^ndDecember 2014.
