A group of 4 friends have gathered in the portico of a Dubai hotel. The place buzzes with the anticipation of an amazing party. The place was full of people either hitting the dance floor gyrating to the dance beats of the latest Hollywood rock music or eating snacks at the food corner. Some people were dressed in Fancy Halloween costumes, some as super heroes, some as world leaders and others had just come to have a good time. Drinks were also being served to the so called dults'. Heena, Flutter, Disha and Gayatri are a bit apprehensive regarding how the situation may spiral out of control at any time, are having a chat. Some excerpts:
Gayatri: I hope all goes well, we want everything to be perfect for the birthday girl.
Disha: I am sorry, I forgot whose Birthday it is!!
Heena: Don't worry, you will find out soon..
Flutter: I have asked for the birthday girl's favorite music band The Beetles to throw a concert for her and they have kindly consented. This will take place at the end to make it a memorable event.
Gayatri, Disha and Heena all show their appreciation.. Wow!!! The Beetles.. we love them!!
Flutter: Its almost time, I have asked the birthday girl to come to this place.. I think she suspects me.. she wont be surprised to see our efforts, I only hope she likes it.
Gayatri: even me, I know her from childhood, she can be a bit hard to please!
Disha: The lights! the lights! Dim them...
Heena: (speaking into a mike) Everybody! Hush! Hide!! The birthday girl is arriving, we don't want her to realise its her party.
(everybody scrambles to hide themselves, while the lights dim)
(The entrance door opens with a baam! And a strong gust of wind enters the room, and the light comes on.. Everybody shouts Happy Birthday!!!!! only to see an Avengers hero Captain America enter the room!)
Captain America: It isn't my birthday!!
Flutter: We know! False Alarm!!
Gayatri: Oh gosh!! That's embarrassing!! I love him, he is my favourite character from The Avengers
Heena: Well, lets dim the lights again, everybody hide and wait for the birthday girl!!
( the lights dim again..)
This time, the doors open softly and a soft breeze makes its presence into the room. Everybody shouts Happy Birthday!! once again.. and the lights come on again to reveal the birthday girl Zephyr herself!!
Disha, Gayatri, Heena and Flutter launch into a chorus of the happy birthday song.. and go and hug zephyr and congratulate her.
Zephyr: Oh What a lovely surprise..
