Try John Donne and some works of other poets from the Metaphysical school of poetry, Perhaps George Herbert ...

Spenser? You must have read ... Sonnet 75 is my favorite.

How do you like your poetry, -- romantic, humor, reflection on life, spiritual, love, straightforward, heavy with metaphors and similes?

Try Alexander Pope. And Herrick and Lovelace and Suckling too -- the Cavilers.

Try the Imagist poets too -- I lvoe Ezra pound and Amy Lowell and Dolittle.

I don't know -- Milton has some very nice works too, apart from his Epic PD.
