Yes ! It was a lovely scene, to see Sahir so impressed with Arzoo that he is left speechless.
So impressed was he that, it look him a minute to even say "Linda, continue"
I thoroughly enjoyed the scene, but in the end it was a little disappointing.
What was it that caused Sahir to react like this ? A moment of weakness ? And is that weakness acceptable ?
The person whom we have been shown to be Sahir Azim Chowdry is not one to succumb to such a weakness , even momentarily.
A husband who has a wife in a comma,who visits her every week, a person who aspires to be one of the richest men in India to fulfill the promise he made to his wife 7 years back, this moment is not expected from him.
He has been shown to be a doting husband, at least if they had shown that there was no love between them it would have made me feel less guilty because I enjoyed the scene.
There was hope that they were not really married, those pictures which Alvira burnt could have been just engagement pictures. But we have been repeatedly told that she is indeed his wife. As KA mentions even in todays episode "Sahir ka pehle se nikkah ho chuka hai" , there is no question now that he is a married man.
The question is why then ?
His wife cheated on him ? Nothing shown so far suggests that.
She was materialistic ? It was not some girl he just married, the flashback scenes shows he was clearly in love with her. Did he not know then that she was materialistic ?
Of course, I will be told that Sahir is human, and in reality this happens. Really ? How many people do we know who have wives in comma ? And in any case its not reality we expect to see. We expect the heroes and heriones on screen to be ideal people, to be honest, strong , to respect others and to live a life we may never be able to.
The saving grace was that when Zaki was taking the photographs, he was not looking at Aarzoo. What really worries me though is the last time he had a moment of weakness , it ended with him punishing himself so badly. That was when only two of them were there. But what happens now ?
All said and done , I think there are more questions than answers and if there is no actual "reason" for his moving away from Zeenat , the SaAz realtionship is getting a little difficult to digest.
P.S : I know a lot of you will not like what I have posted. I just want to feel better while enjoying the romance
