Chapter 3-

After reaching the hotel all three of them unpacked their bags..

Ari: Paro!!! I'm hungry lets go somewhere..

Payal: NO WAY! I'm very tired right now lets order the food here.

Ari: please payal...

Paro: Ari even I'm tired right now.. we'll go tomorrow okay?

Ari: okay fine..

Payal laughed and shook her head at her stupid friend..

Ari: oyee why are you laughing? Shh.. now order the food..

Paro: what a foodie I swear.. wait I'll order..

Rudra on the call with aman

Rudra: yes aman. Is everything ready?

Aman: Sir actually.. err. the clients called

Rudra: now what the problem? I am going today.

Aman: Sir the clients said you don't need to come to LA. they'll come after a week if you don't want to hurry much in the project..

Rudra: WHAT THE HELL AMAN? Now you are telling me? Is this a game?

Aman: SIR what can I do. But I think is better for them to come right?

Rudra: FINE. Now don't get anything wrong!! *call cut*

The meeting got postponed till a week and the clients will come to Birmingham them self.

At night after payal and ari slept Paro went in the balcony and sat there looking at the sky.

Paro's POV :-

I miss you! I miss you soo much.. I couldn't save you!

I'm so sorry baby! Only if I knew you were there before I lost you! I wish you were there with me today...

Paro cried silently and touched her stomach.. once there was a life in it and she didn't even know till she lost her baby..

Only if she knew.. only if she didn't ignore the signs thinking its nothing but stress of the situation..

She still remember that horrible day..

Flashback-

Its been a month since Rudra and Paro got divorced. Paro wasn't well the frequent tiredness and dizziness wasn't even helping much. Thinking its because of the stress she ignored these things..

Paro was lying down on her bed when Anika came to her.

Anika: Paro why don't you come with me to the grocery store? I'm going to buy few things. You will also feel fresh..

Paro: no di I'm fine.. a bit down.. you go.. I'll stay home.

Anika: Paro its been a month since you have gone anywhere lets go we'll do some shopping too..

Paro: no di please I don't want to go.. I'll go some other day.. you go I'm fine.

Anika: okay okay.. should I call your friends to stay here with you?

Paro: nahi I want to stay alone..

Anika: theek hai I'll be back in an hour. Take care and If you need anything call me..

Anika left for the market..

After few minutes Paro felt a bit uneasy and stood up to go downstairs in the kitchen for water.

After drinking water she was about to go upstairs when she felt extremely dizzy..

she held the table for support but couldn't support herself and landed straight on the edge of the table.

Paro felt extreme pain in her stomach.. it was getting unbearable..

She couldn't understand why? Only thing she could do was going to the hospital nearby..

She called the cab and went to the hospital..

After the checkup doctor said

Doctor: I'm so sorry to say this Ms Mehra but you had a miscarriage.

Paro looked at the lady doctor as if she's an alien.

Paro: WHAT ? MISCARRIAGE? PREGNANT? BABY? No doctor I wasn't pregnant..

Paro said as her voice started to break and tears started forming..

Doctor: Paro you were two months pregnant. You didn't know?

Paro looked at the doctor with disbelieve.. no no this can't happen. No..

Doctor continued: Paro its not very common to have a miscarriage in first trimester by getting hurt on stomach but stress is a big issue. Something happened?

Paro looked at the old lady with tears running down her eyes : doctor i had a divorce a month back.

I am not denying but I'm really stressed these days.. I didn't know about the pregnancy or else..

Doctor: yes because of stress and not healthy diet you are already very week.

Your hemoglobin isn't normal too which matters alot in pregnancy.. above of that you got hit on your stomach and that caused a miscarriage..

Paro looked at her doctor and asked her not to reveal any of this to anyone of her family/friends.

FLASHBACK END-

That was a big reason of not becoming the old Paro.. she just couldn't stop blaming herself for her baby's death..

she still believes that only if she didn't ignore those signs her baby would have been with her today..
