Vitthal was sitting at window looking outside... He was feeling lifeless coz all his children were away from him... In just one night he had lived a complete life... All of a sudden he was feeling weak and lonely.. His son never cared about them after shifting to USA and his other daughter has gone on the path which he never expected from her... He was realizing his own mistake of disowning his only child who always cared about others..
"What was Kalpi's fault?? She just wanted to live her life on her own terms... She never asked anything from me except Raghav and I was so selfish that I dint give her that... Even in my ego I never talked to her... I hurted her so badly that she dint come to me after being deceived by her hubby... What big mistake I made... I know my child... she will forgive me but I have to apologize.. I have to meet her..." He thought in his mind...
While he was getting up from the chair, he saw Maya entering the house... Her anger increases on seeing her... his eyes were already puffy and swollen due to lack of sleep but now it was bloody red with anger... Maya looks at him and wonders why he is so angry.. Not in her dreams she was able to think that someday her father will get to know about her mistake... She asks her mother in hushed tone who was sitting in the side... Kamla tells her that she is worried too as he is not ready to open his mouth... With little courage she goes near Vitthal.
"What happened baba?? U look so angry." She asked while holding his arm...
*SLAP*
Maya was lying on the floor with her palm on her stinging cheek which had Vitthal's imprints on it.. Kamla rushes to her and yells at Vitthal.."Have u gone crazy?? Why u slapped her?? What she did??"
"Don't u dare to take her side... She is the reason for Kalpi's divorce.. She.. She..." Unable to tell her mistake he turns around and sits back on chair. Kamla turns him around forcefully and yells again... "Have u gone crazy?? How can she be the reason?? I am sure Kalpi had instigated u..."
"Shut up Kamla... Do not talk about the things.. u don't know... I have not even spoke to Kalpi... She is so nave that she is still hiding Maya's mistake... I met Raghav yesterday."
"N what Raghav told??"
"He dint say anything but I am a man and I can read his expressions... His guilt of cheating was visible on his face and when I asked whether the girl is Maya.. He stayed silent but lowered his head... That was loud enough to tell me that she is having an affair with Ragahav." Vitthal said it in anger...
""I do not have any affair... It was just a mistake... I agree that I committed a mistake but I never wanted to cheat Kalpi...It was one night stand and I agree I was wrong. I still want to save their relationship but I do not know how??" Maya cried... In her anger and guilt she was unable to control herself and forgot that she was standing in front of her parents.
*SLAP*
Another slap on her face but to her amuses it was Kamla this time... She was too shocked to react.. Even Vitthal was surprised to see this as he was not sure how kamla will react on this.
"Mistake?? U slept with ur brother in law and calling it a mistake... Shame on u Maya. Get lost from here, From now on u won't live here." Kamla roared in anger.
"I won't go anywhere... This is my home too.. " She dint want to argue back but constant allegations and Prem's rude words was still affecting her. She was trying to mask her guilt in her anger.
"U r arguing with me... Ur mom.. who loved u like crazy... U spoiled Kalpi's life.. How could u.. I am ashamed to call u her sister??" Tears were flowing from Kamla's eyes.. She always took Maya's name with pride and never in her dreams she thought that she will slap Maya.
"N why the hell do u care?? U never loved Kalpi... u always taunted her and hurted her... It was u who was always against her than why r u showing so much sympathy towards her... If m a shame on sisterhood than what about u ayi?? U shouldn't be called as mom either." Maya showed mirror to Kamla. Kamla was too stunned to reply... Maya picks her bag which was fallen on the floor and storms in her room leaving a loud sound of banging door behind.
Kamla collapses on floor.. Vitthal supports her and makes her sit on chair... He looks at Kamla's face which was full of tears... He was unable to say whether the tears was coz of Maya's mistake or her own mistakes.
"Vitthal... u toh know I love Kalpi too but it was my past and ur mother's taunt regarding giving birth to a black daughter dint let me show my love to her... It was my fear of not conceiving 2nd child made me bitter towards her... M I really shame on motherhood..." Kamla asked in fear..
"Kamla... Let bygones be byegones... Now u have understood ur mistake so I think it's time to bring our daughter back to our home.."
"But why will she come here where her mother never missed an opportunity to abuse her... where her own sister cheated her. I called her blacky... than why will she call me maa?? Why will she trust me?? Ans how will I show my face to her... I always knw I was wrong but in my ego I never accepted.. but today Maya showed the mirror.. My beloved daughter said that I am not worthy to be called as maa... Then why will she come back to me?? Why will she forgive me??"
"Because she has a big heart.. She is the kind of person who never hold grudges against anyone... She is a brave girl who believes in forgiveness and who believes in giving second chances.. I am sure she will give us second chance too..."
Kamla nods.. It wasn't a fraction of second or Maya's words which made her realize her mistakes... After Pakya going away from her and Maya being busy in modeling, she started feeling alone... She started missing Kalpi very often as she was the only one to apply balm on her head when she was in pain... Her absence made Kamla realize her worth... When she compared her other children with Kalpi, she realized that Kalpi was a gem of person but her ego was too big to accept that and she continues being rude to her... But the harsh words of Maya made her accept the feelings which were dwelling in heart from a long time.

Kalpi has lost the count of time while sitting in the park...This place had her beautiful memories with her father and Raghav.. Whenever they wanted to spend some time with together they used to come here... Kalpi comes her very often to feel her father and Raghav around but today it was different.. She was there to sit alone. She wasn't worried about Ria either as she had ordered head maid to be with her for the whole... For once she wanted to spend some time alone with herself to gain the courage to go ahead with her decision of divorce... She was sitting there.. looking at sky aimlessly.. Now her tears have dried too and her mind was too exhaust to remember anything about that night... She just wanted to sit in some peace where no one questions her.. She finally folds her knees and rest her head on them with the support of her hands.. closes her eyes and prays to God to take away her pain for few seconds... Someone keeps his palm on her shoulder.. She opens her eyes with a jerk and surprised to see her father standing by her side.. Without thinking anything she hugs him.. To her surprise Vitthal too embraces her in his arms.. She was shocked when she feels another touch caressing her head.. She breaks the hug and turns to look at the face of such warm touch... It was none other than her mother.. She closes her eyes once again and opens it but Kamla was still there..
"It's not a dream Kalpi... we are here to apologize for our mistakes... I know it's too late but will u give us one more chance." Vitthal asked her.
Kalpi was totally drained out to speak or think anything.. She was not ready to believe that her mother was standing there and caressing her head.. She just hugs her mother too... Finally the dried tears start flowing and she feels as if her mother is taking away all her pain.. She was always waiting for this moment of her life and had imagined it several times in her college days but with time she lost the hope... The sudden happiness was enough to soother her pain for a while. Finally they sits down on the bench... Kalpi holding her parents hands.
"How u came here baba??" Kalpi asked.
"I called at ur home... Ur maid told me that u r not at home since morning and no one knows about u... I knew where to find u and came here."
Kamla signs Vitthal to go out... He gets up but Kalpi holds his hands more tightly, not letting him move... Vitthal understands her fear.
"Going to bring a bottle of water... Will be back soon. Don't worry. Ur baba won't repeat his mistake again."
Kalpi smiled a little and let her go.. She rests her head on her mother's shoulder when Kamla lovingly caresses her cheek.
"Can't u give him 2nd chance??" She asked Kalpi...
"Ahan" Kalpi made a sound for no.
"But it was a mistake.. He dint cheat u n I know how much u love him. Thn why not?" Kamla asked.
"bcoz, he isn't a good father. Becoz of him my daughter is suffering... "
"I am not a good mother either... y u gave me another chance."
"When u were in front of me.. I wanted to hug u and spend time with u but that was not possible... I learned to leave without my mother but the pain of seeing her in front of me but not with me was really too much. I do not want Ria to feel the same.. It will be better to stay without father than seeing him daily and yearning for love... I don't want her to witness our fights or coldness... Once she will accept divorce she will be fine... I just want to see my Ria in peace."
"And what about u Kalpi?? What about ur love for Raghav??"
"What love ayi?? It died... He broke my trust and now nothing can be done... The lady inside me died the day I saw her with..."
"I know it was Maya. I am so sorry Kalpi.. I..."
"Ayi please... Let me have some peace in ur lap. Please do not discuss about him anymore."
Kamla stays silent and makes her lie down on bench with her head in Kamla's lap.. Both were engrossed in the love they have found for each other, unaware of the person standing behind them hearing their conversation.
Vitthal comes back and notices Raghav going back.. He had come here in search of Kalpi and overheard talking to her mother.. he realizes that it's not right time to disturb her. Vitthal stops him.. He lowers his head and stands in front of him.. Vitthal gestures him to sit and both of them sits down on the floor.
"Why r u going back??"
"I think Kalpi needs some time with her parents and hence going back."
"Won't u take her with u."
"She won't come.."
"N u won't try.."
"I have broken her trust badly.. N I do not think she will forgive me ever."
"So u accepted defeat without even trying??"
"What should I do now?"
"Rectify ur mistake.. Rekindle ur love.. Let her realize that u have changed and really guilty. If u truly love her than take away all her happiness."
"I do not know.. I do not know where to start,what to do.."
"Ask ur heart... It will guide u and I know my daughter... If u will convince her that u r changed and won't repeat ur mistake ever than she will forgive u..."
Raghav nods.. Vitthal gets up to leave... "Baba" he said... Vitthal stops and turns.
"Will u be able to forgive me ever??" He asks.
"No" Vitthal replied sternly..
"Then why do u want Kalpi to forgive me??"
"Coz I want to see her happy."
Vitthal leaves after saying so... Raghav smiles a bit and says.. "I will give her so much love that u will forgive me too. Now, I know my first step."
