My 1st reaction to ur post was...yeh ladki phirse rulayegi 😕 I saw the song and knew u will go for the kill and how right was I 😭 Beautiful song... one could actually feel the dabba hua farihad making Robbie so restless 😭 Esp the lines when they go 'jagte jagte ek umr kati ho jaise' The guy might not even be getting a wink of sleep... I felt like putting him to sleep, atleast that is where he will find some peace 😭

Another rocking scenes for the antra. For Har mulaqat mein mehsus yahi hota hai... U used that scene when Kasturi was telling him something meant for her soulmate and he indeed was hers 😳

The 2nd stranza's Raha jalde yeh guma hota hai...wo nazar chupke se mujhe dekh rahi ho jaise... he actually haulicinating her presence. Brilliant touch 👏

Ek lamhe mein seemat aaya sadiyoon ka safar...zindagi tez, bahut tez chali ho jaise. It all took that one moment of insanity from that impulsive idiot to blow it all u😡...and before he realised life had gone far to ahead for him to catch up😭. Again perfect scene... showing him blowing it all up in that one moment only to wake up and see how far beyond reach life had gone... she was in someone elses arms 😭

But you know the best part of the video... the message.
Na dabaa us fariyad ko, wo ansuni rehjayegi
Na bhar us dil ko dard se
jahan wo basti hai....
ki ek din wo laut aayegi 😳
That was some solace to Robbie... She has to come back, i hope she comes back sooner 😉

Just one complaint dear I love Priyanshu in this movie. And I am not settling for anyone else other than Robbie for his role😕 . Me want u to edit his part 3 months from now when Robbie will be back in kasturi's life to give her his saath 😳 The Video shall be perfect for a RK fan then😃

Jc, i think the most important aspect of a video mix is the right song...and once u get teh right song, the scenes fit in by themselves...but the toughest part is to get that right song for the message u r trying to give... i dont how u do... but u just seem to have a natural instinct when it comes to picking up the right song.... Hats off to u for that. 🤗I wouldnt say i enjoyed the video, thanks to u...u made sure u had nothing to enjoy😕 But i was surely overwhelmed watching Robbie's pain backed by a soulful number seemed to be written for his love Story😭

OK, coming to the video.
The first thing I want to comment on is the sequence that you used where everyone is holding everyone's hand.
First Raunak hols her hand, then you show Kasturi remembering how Robbie left her hand and then how she took his hand and then how Raunak leaves her hand!!!!

Man, you are too good!!!!!!! You actually put so much thought into the video!!!! 👏 👏 👏 .

The song was the highlight!!!! Jagjit Singh ji, Kya bolun, unke baare mein???? Itne shabd hi nahin hai mere paas!!!! Always always loved his and Anoop Jalota's ghazals, their voices and their singing!!!!

Every single line of this ghazal was a gem but my most favourite was the following line
Jaan baaki hai magar saans ruki ho jaise

But the song itself, whoever composed the music, I felt the music did not suit Jagjit ji's voice, it had a slightly jarring effect. But honestly when he sings, who is listening to the music???????

I was not feeling motivated to write anything the whole of last week , but after seeing Soni's and your videos I feel like jotting down something. I will post it under the RK Poet's thread soon. Hopefully I can get out of my depression by putting it on a paper. 😭

I feel the same. Whenever i c Robbie crying, in pain, or in turmoil i just want to hug him and make it all go away. Thats Karan's brilliance i guess.👏

I deliberately choose that scene. Especially since it came right after the hand holding scene. It was like a premonition. Where when Ronak holds Kasturi's hand she remembers how Robbie held her hand and if you notice it was Kasturi who withdrew her hand from him...and then Ronak lets go of Kasturi's hand followed by the scene where Kasturi said that the first hand she hold...she wants to hold of a lifetime. And Kasturi took that step toward Robbie so its like saying she'll hold his hand again.

That was actually unintentional. When i edited the scenes and they were all jumbled up together...those scenes just happened to be together and in the right spot. I didn't bother to change it since it was so perfectly placed.

I new it will hurt RK fans but it was part of the song and i thought it fit with Ronak so i didn't edit it out. I don't think this song will fit RK when they come back together. But i promise when that happens i make a rocking mix for them that will more than make up for this.😉

Yes its not like the other Jagjit Singh songs...its not his style of music but i think thats what made this song stand out more. The music gives a feeling that life is like stuck in a very painful position, which is exactly where Robbie is right now. Its one of my favorites.

Just got a chance to view your mix JC and I must say proudly you've done a marvelous job. First of all, let me say the song you chose was absolutely perfect for the scenes you chose. I just love Koi Fariyaad, with Jagjit ji's heart tugging singing and the lovely lyrics, this song is beautiful! I absolutely love how you weaved RobKas scenes through the song and had scenes showcasing Robbie's pain that blended with the lyrics of the song. The pain, the loss, the hope, the love, it all was there in the mix. Once again you've done a wonderful job! 👏
