Conversation between Cabir and Nandini ... Nandini was feeling unsettled as usual after her spat with manic and it suddenly occurred to her that when she visited Fab 5 in the hospital she had become so distracted by Monster Manik that she hadn't bothered to ask Cabir how he was feeling. She knew they weren't friends or anything like that but she couldn't get the image of Cabir lying in his own blood and then shivering uncontrollably in the car. So she decided to pay him a proper visit.
When she entered his room she immediately saw that Manic was there and she hesitated but Cabir smiled so warmly at her and welcomed her with such warmth that she just couldn't resist the mischievous look in his eyes. After a little small talk and Cabir saw that Nandini was comfortable and Manik was sitting like a statue listening to everything she uttered while pretending he was reading a magazine. "Now" he started, "So Nandini now that u have said no to Dhruv are you planning on dating someone else?" Nandini stilled and blinked twice in surprise. She then gave a mischievous smile of her own and said that she was thinking about it now. "Oh! so do you have anyone in mind?" "No not right now", but I have already started checking out guys and started the elimination process." "Oh, so what are you looking for?" She said quite calmly that the guy had to be good looking of course and Cabir readily agreed that yes of course definitely. But he shouldn't be too tall. At this Cabir had to bite his cheek to stop himself from grinning. Oh and why is that? Um you know what they say lambon ki aqal gitton mein hoti hai and also I think when they r too tall blood brain tak properly nahin pohanchta. "Hmmm", Cabir said suppressing his laughter... "also kissing is quite an issue with them" Nandini continued matter of factly. "Not just that even simple conversation is impossible as due to lack of proper blood circulation they r already immature but also after five minutes you need a collar for neck support." "Ohhh so you've had some experience with kissing a tall guy?" Interesting!! Cabir thought. "Not much thankfully but enough for me to know what I want and not want in the guy I'm dating." Cabir smiled and said with his most angelic expression "I can help you in looking for the right guy. Don't worry. We're friends now right?!" At that Manik slammed the door of the room and Nandini just rolled her eyes.
