Arjun- Anjali ONE SHOT.😳😳
All the characters and the story setting is same as in the serial.
SEEING A STONE MELTING
Arjun lies on bed after a tiresome day of training and looked at the ceiling. He remembers his own words "everyone is alone on heights" but today he could not be alone on that just 100 meter height hill. He was with someone whom he could not resist. Someone with whom he would love to scale every height not just of mountains but of life too. He had started to realize how deeply he admired Anjali. His co- trainee. He admired everything about her. Her passion, her truthfulness, her skills and her determination. "But why am I thinking too much about her. I am here on my mission to scale everest not to admire her". He got up from his seat and went out TO MAKE A PHONE CALL to his sister Shikha. Whenever he has ever been in a turmoil it has only been her who has come to rescue and advised him right. Though they are completely opposite he is harsh and she gentle they have gotten along very well despite being step siblings.
He dialed Shika's number. "She is probably the only person on earth whose phone no. I have by hearted" he said to himself. Shikha picked up the phone and before his saying hello she greeted him "Hello my darling little brother how are you?"
Arjun : How did you know it was me?
Shikha : Who else could bother me in mid-night.
Arjun : Oh!! I forgot the time difference. So sorry.
Shikha : are you all- right??
Arjun : why?
Shikha : you just said "sorry".
Arjun : Oh! Stop pulling my leg. Can I speak to you for sometime .
Shikha : You waana talk to me and you are asking permission . Tell me is everything really alright.
Arjun :Oh ! Of course everything is all right. It is just it has been quite some time I spoke to you.
Shikha : Not much
Arjun : It has been a week. 7 DAYS!!
Shikha : I didnt know you count days to talk to me.
ARJUN : OH !Yeah because you are such a sweetheart .
( Anjali passes through the phone booth and is amazed to see Arjun smiling and hears him say sweetheart . A faint expression if gloom gets painted on her face)
Shikha : So how is the training going ? All set my stone boy .How is your instructor and your co-trainess and (she paused )
Arjun : Everyone is so gud and everything is beautiful. AKASH is also good (smirks)
Shikha : it is so obvious that something is wrong . You are using words like good and beautiful.
Arjun : You are again pulling my leg.
Shikha : Okie . SO tell me about today's training.
(Anjali was in her room and remembered the morning training . On the other hand Arjun was narrating the morrning training scene to his sister.)
Flashback .
Col. Abhyankar tells everyone that "since now indoor and outdoor climbing wall training is done. Now they are supposed to practice on a real place. The hill or rock is of 100 metre height and you all are supposed to climb in grups of two . The 10 hills have been selected. On each hill there will be two pairs who will climb .Our supervisionary team will be there with every pair.So get going".
Anjali is really very happy . It is her first real attempt at climbing . She is paired with arjun who can see the excitement literally dropping off her face. He asks her "are you ready" . And she firmly replies " yes always".
Pari( grr why has she been given such a beautiful name) and Kabir are the other pair who are supposed to climb with them . Pari tampers Anjali's rope so that she falls.
They start climbing . ARJUN is fascinated by seeing Anjali's speed as she goes first and he follows. Slowly he takes over. On the other side it is Pari and Kabir going up wishing for Anjali's downfall.
Anjali and Arjun are moving up . Arjun is impressed by Anjali's calibre. He smiles seeing her and Anjali notices him smiling .
They are just ten metre away from peak but 90 metre away from Ground. Pari's trick does the mishap and Anjali's rope goes weak. Arjun who is ahead of Anjali hears the cracking sound and his eyes fall on about break Anjali's rope .
It breaks but he gets hold of the rope on the right time while Anjali clinches to the hill . He looks at her . She nods to say she is ok. She says she can go down . He says no way it is equally dangerous. The supervision team asks them to come down using Arjun's rope . Anjali sees little disappointment in Arjun's eyes who comes near her to support her to go down . She smiles at him and says if going down together is possible then going up together should also be possible.
Arjun smiles and says yes. Both are in close proximity .Arjun gets another rope from his bag and Anjali asks why he brought it. He replies you cannot trust anyone on heights . Be your own saviour .
She smiles but I can trust you she says while taking rope from him . There hands touch and they sigh . Finally after tying the rope they resume climbing . Arjun goes side by side of Anjali. The supervision team smiles . Kabir and pari are down as they cud not go more than 70 metre.
Anjali and Arjun reach the top.
They both stand on top and Anjali hugs Arjun in excitement but then retreats back suddenly as she realises what she just did. Arjun comes near her and asks " are you alright "? Anjali nods avoiding eye contact and looks down on his hurt hands . She takes out the ointment and applies to his hand while he looks on. He asks "why do u care so much for others" .
She cunningly replies " a self centred person won't understand why !!
He holds her hand tight and demands "what does she mean and what does she think of him"!!
Anjali gets her hand away with a jerk and says "he wont understand."
They are asked to come down by supervisors and as soon as Anjali comes down she rushes to aakash to tell about her experience which pinches Arjun.
Flashback ends.
Anjali in her room. " Why does it matter if he called that girl a sweetheart or something else".
He is just a role model . A CO - TRAINEE thats all. But ...
It matters he saved my life . May be I am thinking too much. May be that stone is melting may be ...
Arjun's phone convo.
Shikha : you saved that girl. I don't believe this and she hugged you . Now I get it why are you talking so strange
Arjun : Why?
Shikha: bcz you have developed a soft corner for her. I have only heard of Ice melting but here I come to listen of Stone melting.
Arjun : nothing like that
Shikha : the height was 10 metre n you were ready to come down for her safety but you didn't come down when peak was 200 metre yet away. ( she stopped as she realised what she said )
He cancelled the call . May be she was right. Anjali is special very special.
Shikha in her room thinks " I dun know who you are Anjali but if you have made a mark on him in 7 days you are probably the one who can melt this stone and I would love to see this stone melting.
