The MMS fiasco was perhaps the best thing that happened to this story, which was hobbling along without much direction. Now there is no denial in the story. Dadi knows, and although she took it badly, will emerge from it stronger and in touch with the truth about her grandson's life. Sarla also is still alive and okay, despite knowing the truth, and is ready to support her daughter. Even Mitali's bad deeds are becoming known not only to Tanu and Aliyah, but Pragya as well. The close circuit TV will further unravel secrets of the how Pragya was framed. The airing of all these hushed secrets will give the storyline a new lease of life, from which the CVs, provided they take this opportunity seriously and work on it, can direct the plot away from the constant suppression, back-biting, Pragya-baiting intrigue, to really developing the lead characters.
Both Pragya and Abhi were raised by strong, women, who are dominant personalities in their own right. For Abigya to learn to relate to each other, they need to learn to relate to themselves, and grow out of the pattern of rebellion and victimization, respectively. I hope that Pragya's departure from the Mehra mansion will serve as an opportunity for both Abhi and Pragya to introspect upon their own personalities, and their relationship with each other. I sincerely hope that the CVs explore such mature angles in the plot, which is full of wonderful possibilities, rather than be obsessed with constant churning of plotting misundertandings between Abhi and Pragya.
