I think the story has taken an exciting turn with the introduction of Zeenat, the wife of Sahir. That explains why he has not been dating. Just working all the time to prove something to his wife, if she recovered.
Seven-years is usually the clincher for male leads with a dark past in soapland, and that explains why he fell in love so quickly with the intern Arzoo.
The itch needed scratching. Seven years is a long time to be celibate - just ask Rudra Pratap Ranawat!
Anyway, none of this new emerging information about Sahir's past ,sheds any light on his preference for burnt toast for breakfast.
The only explanation I can see is that he has his toaster setting too high, to "dark brown". He probably doesn't realize the setting can be changed "light" or "medium" 😆

Rudra's case was different. His wife was dead. And Myrah was the exact replica of Paro...so naturally Rudra got attracted to her.

Maybe in the past KA didnt know how to use the toaster and gave him burnt toasts. Sahir didnt want to be rude, so he ate it. Shayad aadat pad gayi. Like he said, kuch aadatein jaan dene se bhi mushkil hain! :'D

Another mystery to our lists! Suspicious jale hue toast :P

👏😆 Oh that's delicious, Pinot!
The many million dollar question is: was the seven-year drought book-ended by "aath saal har raat", and if not is that something we can look forward to in days to come?
And that's not all that's changed. The itch is tickling Sahir's palate too. Hence the sudden surge of temper when Arzoo served him burnt toast for dinner. He wanted none of it. The tastes are a-changing...😃

Probably zeenat didn't know how to cook..so she used to burn toast all the time and also the only dish she knew was kadi chawal (easy dish)...just guessing 😉
She does look like a bigdi hui ladki...so maybe..lets wait and watch ...
