Arnav looked at a sleeping Kushi. He had given her the medicines after food and had forced her to sleep in his room itself. He dint understand why he did it but the sight of her in his bed made him feel all warm in the inside which he was getting used to now a days.
Kushi's dream...
She saw the walls zip back as she ran down the corridor. She could hear the sound of her payals that echoed in the empty corridor. She kept running till she reached a door. She pushed it open and there stood a boy wearing a white kurtha reading something.
As soon as he saw her a beautiful smile lit his face. Arrey Titli... tum yaha iss waqt? Padai nahi karni hai kya? He asked as he gently patted her head. (Oh Titli you here? Don't you have to study?)
She felt happy seeing him. The urgency in her body had fled leading to excitement and happiness...
Raja ji.. She yelled jumping...excitement bubbling..
Suddenly the boy disappeared and there the girl found herself standing in the rose garden alone in the dark.
A bullet sound made her turn and what she saw made her scream. She saw a bullet enter the back of a lady and come out in the front. While doing so it cut through the pearl string which she wore making it fall along with her blood as the lady fell to the ground.
AMMA... She yelled... and she kept yelled
Shhh.. me hun... she heard a very familiar voice through the haze of fear and sadness.
Kushi... uto.. Kushi.. the melodious voice beckoned her bringing her back from the dark garden.
Kushi??? Get up... Please... she felt herself being shaken gently by strong hands.
Arnav ji??? She called out in a sleep driven feeble voice.
Kushi.. good you are awake.. He murmured more to himself that her.
Boora sapna tha. It was nothing. He told her as he held her close to his heart.
Lait jao me pani la tha hun. Saying he left the room.
Arnav brought a glass of water for her. His heart was still restless. He had just snoozed off when frantic crying came from Kushi. He dint know what she was dreaming off but whatever it was must have been too real for her to yell for her mother like this.
Kushi yeh lo saying he gave a very lost Kushi some water.
Kushi was still thinking of her dream. This was new for her. All these years she had dreamt of various things but never a boy. And who was Raja ji... this name was too familiar to her. May be it was that boy's name she concluded.
Kushi.. pio na.. Arnav called her.
Ek bath puchoo tumse? Arnav asked after hesitating for some time. (Shall I ask you something?)
Han.. kya bath hai? (Yes. What is the matter?)
Kya tume ese sapne ate rahte hai? He asked as he himself suffers from such nightmares but those were not just dreams there were pigments of reality from his past. (Do you suffer from such dreams often?)
Kabhi kabhi ata hai. She said biting her lower lips as she remembered how scared she would get when they happen. (Occasionally I get them.)
Aaj wala bohot darawana tha kya? (Was today's one really scary?)
Pata nahi par jab bhi mere sapne me wo aurath marthi hai tho me dar ke cheek padthi hun. She told him sadly. (Don't know but whenever I see this lady dying in my dream I scream out.) Par aaj sapne me ek ladka bhi aya. She told him thinking how to explain it to him.
Accha?? Arnav asked getting a bit uncomfortable.
Ji. Uska naam Raja tha shayad. She told him thinking. (Yes. I think his name was Raja)
Tum us ladke ko janthe ho? Arnav asked as a slight burning started in his heart area. (Do you know that boy?)
Pehle kabhi nahi dekha use. Par... wo kuch kuch aapke tarah dikhta tha. (I have never seen him before but he somehow looks a bit like you.) Kushi said as she mentally compared their strong jaw and the shape of their eyes and nose.
Arnav dint know what to say. May be the medicines she is taking is playing with her mind he concluded as he smiled gently at her.
Aur wo aurath? Kya tumne use pehele kabhi dekha hai? Arnav asked trying to change the topic. (And that lady? Have you ever seen her before?)
Wo bhi pata nahi. Mujhe apni 10 sal tak ka koi bhi cheez yadh nahi hai. She said sadly. (I don't know. I don't remember anything from my 10years of age)
Kya hua tha tume? (What happened to you?)
Jeeji kehthi hai ki bachpan me humare sath ek hadsa huatha jiske wajhe se hume kuch yadh nahi. She said and then yawed, rubbing her eyes. (Jeeji told me that I had an accident when I was young after which I don't remember anything.)
Arnav stared at her. He wanted to know more but he could see she was tired and thought of asking her later. He would find out what she had forgotten eventually he thought determined.
Teek hai abhi tum so jao. Bohot rath ho gayi hai. He said taking the glass from her hand. (You sleep now. It is late into the night.)
Nahi abhi nahi. Mujhe kulfi khani hai. She said getting up and sitting Indian style on the bed. (No not now. I want to eat kulfi)
Kulfi aur rath ko? (Kulfi and now?)
Han. She said stubbornly.
Kushi 1 baje hai rath ko. Ab kaha milega?? Arnav asked getting frustrated. (It is 1 in the night. Where will we get it now?)
Aap mere liye yeh bhi nahi kar sakthe ho??? She pouted and made her lower lip shiver a bit. Giving him the perfect puppy dog look. (You won't do this for me?)
Arnav melted with that. How could he say no to that??? Ok ek minute saying he took the phone and left
After half hour
Challo Kulfi a gayi hai. Arnav said pulling a half asleep Kushi from bed. (Come the kulfi had arrived)
Accha.. she jumped off happy to get her Kulfi. Challo challo neeche chalte hai. She said pulling him towards the door. (Come come let's go downstairs)
Par Kushi wo upar ayega na. Arnav said trying to stop her. (But Kushi he will come upstairs)
Nahi hume neeche jake khana hai. (No we'll go down and eat)
Ok ok.. challo.. Arnav said consioulsy looking at his dress as he has never set foot outside wearing such clothes.
After one hour Kushi slept off with a big smile on his face and Arnav couldn't be happier. He felt light and was feeling peaceful after so many years. But still there was a small pricking in his brain warning him that things are not what they seem. His not trusting anyone' nature was pricking him to be cautious but for once Arnav brushed it aside and wanted to live in the present with her.

It was nearly 2:30 am when Shyam returned home. He was late as he got stuck in Payal's house. He was really surprised to know that Payal dint have anything in her house. It looked at thought she had just shifted in. He quietly entered his room and shut the door. For once he was happy that Geet/Anjali was sleeping with Sakshi (if you don't remember she is Maan's and Geet's daughter). Shyam put the tape which he had taken from Raizada office, in the drive and started looking at the security tape. After sometime he could see that the video has clearly caught his image while driving the car. He smirked at this. This tape will disappear and no one will have proof that he did anything. Just then his phone rang and it was one of his clients. He talked to him about something as his eyes were on the TV viewing it without paying too much attention. He cut the call and was about to switch off the TV when his eyes widened at the scene. The time in the video showed 1:35am and there stood Arnav along with Kushi. They seemed to be comfortable with each other. She was laughing and Arnav was smiling at her. What the hell was going on? He wondered. His evil mind started working. He understood that there was something between them and he would find it soon. For now he had to wait and watch out.

Akash got up and stretched himself. It was Tuesday and his sister always went to temple. He looked at the time and quickly got ready.
Di are you ready? He called as he reached the table. He noted that his brother Arnav was not present even today. He wondered what was so important that he had not properly come home for nearly a month.
Yes I am ready. Here take these packets for me. They are our breakfast. I have to go to office after the temple. I have put only one hour of permission. My Dust Danav boss does not allow more than that. She said with disgust.
Akash smiled at this. His Di was getting feisty whenever she spoke of her boss now a days.
Ok challo saying the siblings left.
Akash whose hand bag is this? Anjali asked as she got comfortable on the seat.
What hand bag di?? Akash asked confused.
Arrey yeh wala.. Saying she showed it.
Akash first dint recognize it but then it struck him. Payal ji's..
Yeh tho Payal ji ka hai... he spoke out loud.
Payal ji??? Your secretary?
Yes di...di what are you doing?? Akash asked shocked as he saw his di remove things from her purse.

Shivering and sweating.. Anjali/Geet fainted still holding to it...
