Shammi Kapoor, the scion of the renowned actor Prithviraj Kapoor and a member of the prestigious first family of Indian cinema, the Kapoors, joined the family business in 1953. His tall frame and light eyes had the women swooning over him in his first few films as a hero. He married the celebrated beauty and actress, Geeta Bali. After his marriage, he re-invented himself as a rebel in 1957's 'TUMSA NAHIN DEKHA.' He would excel in this type of role in classic such as 'DIL DEKE DEKHO' and 'JUNGLEE.'
