'Aishwarya won't be shooting Jazbaa on Sat. and Sundays

AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN GETS READY FOR COMEBACK WITH JAZBAA, WON'T SHOOT ON WEEKENDS AND WILL WORK HER SCHEDULE ACCORDING TO DAUGHTER AARADHYA'S NEEDS; ABHISHEK TO BABYSIT WHENEVER NEEDED

Subhash K Jha The very lovely Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to start shooting for her comeback film Jazbaa.

A completely hands- on mother Aishwarya had taken a two- year sabbatical to devote her entire time to bringing up her baby Aaradhya. It is only now that Aishwarya has decided to do a film. But as they say, conditions apply. According to sources close to the Bachchan family, Aishwarya will shoot only during those times when she is not needed at home for her daughter Aaradhya. We also hear that Abhishek would be adjusting his schedules to be as much at home as possible when his wife is busy at work.

Sanjay Gupta, who is gearing up for the shooting of Jazbaa, says, " I will be shooting with Aishwarya in January and February 2015. By then I am most likely to be done with her shooting.

Aishwarya won't be shooting on Saturdays and Sundays. I wouldn't want it any other way for her or myself. Like Aishwarya I am a very hands- on parent. I want to spend time with my children even when I'm working." Sanjay is very clear on the fact that shooting with Aishwarya was not a planned comeback gimmick for him. He says, " I would have made Jazbaa with Aishwarya anyway, no matter when. It requires a larger- than- life female hero and who better than Aishwarya?" The filmmaker is happy to see so many female- centric films being made these days. " More power to the female actors, I say. But one has to be careful about the scripting of these films which feature women at the forefront. You cannot short- change the audience with the script. Whether it was Sridevi in English Vinglish , Priyanka Chopra in Mary Kom or Kangna Ranaut in Queen it was the script that finally worked. So it is with Jazbaa," adds Sanjay.

Sanjay says he can feel the pressure of the responsibility.

" I'm beginning to realise how much of a responsibility it is to direct Aishwarya's first film in three years. Not just her but there is also Shabana Azmi. It was my dream to direct her one day. And now I'm doing it. Shabana's role has plenty of thehrao. Her character is the voice of reason in the script," says Sanjay.

The director says there are plenty of confrontation scenes between Shabana and Aishwarya. " They are there in the original film. I am not revealing the source of my script because it's a suspense film. The minute I reveal the original film's title the suspense will be gone but I can tell you I've made only one major change in the remake. I've added a confrontation sequence between Shabana and Irrfan's characters. How could I have these two great actors in my film and not bring them together in the same frame?," reveals Sanjay.
