Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is known for his unique filmmaking skills and the filmmaker surely has tasted some amazing success in the industry with films like Rang De Basanti and the recent Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The talented is now all set to make an epic love story as his next.
Marking the debut of Harshvardhan Kapoor, son of the evergreen actor Anil Kapoor, Mirziya, is Rakeysh Omprakash's next ambitious film which is based on the folklore of 'Mirza Sahiba'. Also, model turned actress Saiyami Kher is paired opposite the Harshvardhan in the film. The film which is to be extensively shot in the beautiful locales of Rajasthan and Ladakh, recently, went on floor. Though it is period drama, according to Rakeysh, the film will treated with a contemporary touch.
Mirziya will have music composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics will be penned by Gulzar. The film will also have Sonam Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman in small yet impactful roles.
