I'm surprised no one made a thread on this yet 😲 November 12, 2014 marks the 10 year anniversary of Veer Zaara!

What can I say about this film? One of the most epic Bollywood films of all time in my opinion. A classic. This is one of the movies that made Shah Rukh Khan my favourite actor.

Soul-touching music.

Manoj Bajpai (Zaara's fiance): "Bataye, hum aapka karz kaise chukai?"

("tell me, how can I repay your loan?"

SRK: "Bas Zaara ko hamesha khush rakhiye, karz chuk jayega"

("just keep Zaara happy, the loan will be repaid"

Manoj Bajpai:"zara hethiyath ki jiye Veer saab, kahin hum shuba na ho jaye ki aapko Zaara se mohabbat ho gaye"

("Be careful, I shouldn't get the impression that you love Zaara")

SRK: "Mohabbat kya hoti hai yeh toh main nahin jaanta. Lekin haan, Zaara ke liye yeh dil se duwa zaroor nikal ti hain, ki iski aankhon mein kabhi aasoon na aaye. Ki yeh hamesha hasti rahe. Agar aap isse mohabbat kahe, toh mohabbat sey!"

("I don't know what love is. But yes, I do pray that Zaara never sheds tears, that she's always smiling. If this is what you call love, then love it is!")

The above dialogues are just a few gems from the film. There are many more gems in this classic!

One of the most underrated films EVER! And SRK-PREITY!

They were so perfect with each other. Ahhh!

I recall I saw it early on a Saturday afternoon . It was mind blowing . Feel Srk has made tons of popular films that this one gets lost in shuffle somewhere . I still remember I went and bought a brown jacket from Zara to match Srks in this film 😆 😆 . I also went and saw will smiths shark tale right after I saw this 😉 😉

The Songs!!!!

VZ has such great songs with amazing lyrics.👏

Main yahaan hoon is my first choice Tum Chhupa Na Sakogi Main Woh Raaz Hoon,Tum Bhula Na Sakogi Woh Andaaz Hoon,Gunjtaa Hoon Jo Dil Mein To Hairaan Ho Kyon, Main Tumhare Hi Dil Ki To Aawaz Hoon

Tere Liye This one got to be an anthem of heartbreaks😆 It's played thousand times on the radio,no one is ever fed of it❤️

Do Pal the Picturisation,The instrumental, The voices...❤️ Tum The Yaa Khushboo Hawaon Mein Thi,Tum The Yaa Rang Saari Dishaaon Mein The

Hum to bhai jaise hai 'Main apni favorite hoon' in a song😆 Khazaana!! Whenever my mom calls me crazy,this song plays in my head😆

Aisa Des Hai mera Yahaan Bhi Vahi Shaam Hai Vahi Saveraa,Aisaa Hi Des Hai Meraa Jaisaa Des Hai Teraa😡😡 My favorite line when someone asks me about my country. I'm not an alien.😆

Other tracks are nice too,aaya tere dar par,Lodi and VZ instrumentals❤️

Instrumentals are awesome to listen while studying.

The story and portrayal of characters were perfectly done. Preity was ethereal as Zaara and Veer was charming and The perfect guy.

The story was different, not only hindu-muslim love but between India and Pakistan.🥳

But because it's too long,i did get bored,i won't hide it😆

A special mention to Rani👏 I loved her story too.

After HSSH,K3G,it's VZ for me😳

@Cougartown the film was a Super Hit according to BOI but just Hit according to Taran Adarsh

@Franco you wanting SRK's jacket reminds me of how heavily influenced I am by SRK's style in general 😆 The man really has a style of his own. His hands in his pocket, his cool clothing (especially with coats/jackets), carrying a bag in his hand around his back...I always found all of this very cool and often when I am walking/standing I do these same things such as wearing a cool jacket, hands in my pocket, bag in my hand around my back, etc 😆
