~ Chapter 15 - I Love You, Arnavji ~
Arnav woke up feeling light and fresh. A dream of a romantic life would make anyone feel fresh, yaar! Though he didn't wish to go to office and work, yet he had to. His Di and Nani would not let him stay at home. No there was not any anti-male function, but those usual only-ladies shopping.
He readied himself and left for office.
Now this was a big change! The person who loved to work and go to office and order others freely, has started to find going to office boring! Point to be noted.
Chalo fir bhi. He had to leave.

"Khushiji I think this one is good" Anjali showed Khushi a pearl necklace, while they all sat surrounded by a wide variety of intricate jewelleries.
"Ji Anjaliji" she replied, cautiously taking hold of the necklace.
"Khushiji. Why don't you try it?"
"Ji" Khushi brought her hair to one side.
Anjali noticed a pretty diamond necklace already around her neck, and curiously asked her about it. Khushi smiled as she caressed the necklace, at the same time blushing thinking about the person who gifted her the same.
"Actually Anjaliji, Arnavji gave me this.."
"Oh" Anjali pressed her lips together teasing her and looked at her in awe while she blushed.
Khushi tried on the pearl neck-piece ... and this went on till late afternoon.
Shopping toh bas bahana hai. Its always accompanied by lots of teasing and talking and laughing. What else can we expect from ladies?

"Anjaliji" Khushi called out for Anjali, "I wanted to ask you something."
"Ji Khushiji?"
"Can I go to Arnavji's room? I'll take just five minutes" Khushi spoke excitedly, feeling nervous at the same time.
Anjali hesitantly looked at her and then at Nani and Garima; then quickly replied, "Of course Khushi. After all it's going to be your room only.."
"Thank you"
"Khushi bitiya?" Garima spoke up, making Khushi stop and turn around.
"Maa bas abhi aati hoon" and she turned around and ran upstairs.

She placed a piece of paper on the small table in front of the recliner. Looking around in the room and smelling his presence lingering in the room, she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply.
Her reflection in the mirror showed how happy she was.
The feeling of love would make anyone happy.. even more than she was.

Evening.
"I'll be working from home tomorrow. So manage all the formalities" Arnav instructed Aman minutely, making his way out to the parking area.
"Yes Sir. I'll manage everything. Don't worry."
"Aman I'll be quite busy till.."
"I know Sir. But please don't hesitate in any matter. I'll look after everything"
"Yeah Aman. At least I have you to look after official things."
Aman smiled and nodded.
Arnav sat in his car and drove to Raizada Mansion. He was blessed in terms of maintaining AR. Having a well-maintained firm was not an easy task. And having a person like Aman with him, Arnav could manage it all really well.

He reached home, and sat with his family for sometime, discussing the whole-day doings and acknowledging them for working so much for his marriage. This has surely been a change in ASR. He had started to love his family all the more. May be because of Khushi.
He left the living room to fresh up.
As soon he entered his own room, a sudden gush of air hit his face. A beautiful smell lingered in the room.. something unusual. He closed the door, and entered inside. A faint tune was playing in his ear..
Rabba veyy rabba veyy rabba vey rabba vey
His gaze fell on a sheet of paper placed on the table.
He slowly picked it up and unfolded it.
Arnavji,
I know you must be confused seeing this letter in your room. I tried to say this to you directly, but could not muster the courage to do so. So I decided to pen it down.
I have never believed in arranged marriages. I thought that how can two people marry each other without knowing anything about each other. I always believed that I would fall in love with a Prince Charming, like in the stories which my Grandma used to tell me, and would marry him one day. But that was before I met you...
When you are with me, my heartbeats increase and when I talk to you, I lose the notion of time... When you are not around me, I feel restless and incomplete. I am not sure how to name those feelings, but it is the most beautiful feeling I have ever experienced. Thank you so much for being there Arnavji. Your presence in my life has been the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. The moments we have spent together have given me memories that I will cherish forever... We are getting married in three days and I have never been happier. I am really excited for my upcoming life... because you will make it special.
You're the most perfect person I've ever met. You are the Prince Charming I have always dreamt about. I don't know what you guys think, but for a girl to say that a person is her prince charming, is a really really heartfelt thing.
With all the time we've spent with each other, I have realised your importance in my life. My life seems to be incomplete without you now. I know my life will cease if you step out of it. This feeling has made me so emotionally attached to you, that I can never imagine my life without you. I think now I know what those feelings are... Love.

A soft gasp escaped Arnav's mouth as he felt his heart getting heavy. This was completely unexpected for him. Her this gesture had seriously left him flabbergasted. He felt good... actually he felt great.
He came out of his reverie as his phone beeped with Khushi's message.
"I love you Arnavji"
Tears filled his eyes. He had never felt so loved. He never felt so concerned. He was so moved by his lady's confession. He closed his eyes, silently thanking his maa for sending someone like Khushi into his life.. for bringing his life back into him.
He wiped his tears off the rim of his eyes and picked up his phone to call Khushi.
He felt her picking up the call but silence prevailed between them. Khushi was feeling too shy to speak something while Arnav, he was dying to hear her voice.
"Khushi?"
"Arnavji.. I.. woh actually.."
"I wish I could see you at this time" he spoke, breaking into a smile.
"Ji?"
"Yeah. I wish I could see that persistent blush on your face which I guess has darkened now.."
Bas that was enough for Khushi to feel compelled to apply ice on her cheeks. By god! She had never blushed this much ever before! All credits to Mr. A.S.R.
"Arnavji aap bhi na.."
"Kya?" he teased her.
"I don't know" "Good Night" and she hung the call.
"Arrey?" he looked at his phone incredulously, chuckling the next minute at her innocence.
She has done the needed.
Now his turn.
He smiled at the letter before placing it safely in his wardrobe. He looked at his plants and then went into the washroom to get changed.
Does one-sided love make the couple be called a in-love couple?
