Kapil, Kulraj and herogiri ’tween them

Kapil Sharma, brother of director Anil Sharma, is ready to make his debut soon. Currently he's shooting for his film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron in Mumbai.

And Anupam Kher has taken him under his wing. They share a guru-shishya relationship off-screen and a father-son relationship onscreen. So obviously he gets valuable tips from this veteran and much scolding, too. Kapil was also a part of Kher's An Actor Prepares.

Kapil's mentor likes his pupil to play safe when it comes to shooting action sequences. During his first action shot, Kapil had to jump off the second floor. Though he had taken adequate preparations he subsequently hurt his shoulder and was forbidden to risk his life again. The instruction was clear ? Be a hero, but you don't need to do herogiri.

Kya Kher Saab, his first film and that too with girlfriend as costar and no herogiri? Remember Kulraj Randhawa of Kareena Kareena fame? She seems to have a soft corner for her big-screen Kapil. The pair can be spotted often in discos quite oblivious of the crowd. Not just that, the two take their dance classes, action and fight classes and even their diction classes together!
