heello.. I have decided to finish off all my stories one by one. Starting with this story as this will be the shortest compared to my other stories. I know many of you want MPK updates too. Will try and update that story in between. And this time will definitely try to give quick updates. At least 1update a week. Planning 2 / week but let's see..
And one more thing, I am not getting sufficient time to go through all ur pms and read you guys updates. I am trying to read and comment every time I login here but hardly couple of them I can cover every time. So I am really sorry for that. That's why I am not demanding any comments on my updates because I am not getting time to comment on urs then how can I expect or demand you guys to comment on mine?. Once again sorry. .here is the part 5. Hope you guys like it.
Part 5:
Kriya entered her class only to see the professor has already in the classroom. Actually it's study holidays for 1st year students now but since exams have postponed so few professors are taking extra classes just to help students for revisions.
Professor : oh Kriya. Hope you are doing well now.
Kriya : yes sir I am alright now.
Professor : good. Now listen kriya, you are a bright student. But this time your performance was not good. You know your internals marks so utilize these extra classes for the good and do well in finals.
Kriya doesn't understand what to reply for that. How she ended up in such a mess? She, since childhood always scored excellently. Never even once she fell in a category of average or above average students. Always a sharp student. This time she just passed in her all internals. Even if she scores well in finals, due to poor marks in internals, she hardly will be able to score upto 75-80%. For many students it's a good grade to achieve but kriya, who always was above 90%, it's very poor performance. She is cursing now for that. Why didn't she notice about her poor marks in internals? Why didn't she do something about it ? She just gives a faint smile to professor and went and sat in the last bench.
Next 3 hours she forgot completely about rey and fire escape incident. Only focused on studies and discussions taking place in the class. She sat alone in the last bench and payed her 100% attention on topics being discussed. End of the morning classes, kriya realised how much she has to work on. She has to study a lot. Scoring good in finals is also a tough job for her now. All other students in the class, the way they were discussing with professors, it clearly showed how hard they have studied already. She is no where in the race this time. This upsets her. Thinking all this kriya enters canteen.
Rey on the other hand, when he realised what he was thinking about kriya when he said those words to kriya in fire escape, was shocked and went away to come to some terms. He directly went to basketball court and started playing basketball alone, thinking what's happening with him? Why did he drag kriya in fire escape? He could've spoke to her in the corridor itself. Why it became so important to know how is she? He played and played and played. Questions increased in his mind without any answers to them. Or got the answers but he was not ready to accept it. Yes for all his questions, he got only one answer, that he is concerned about kriya but the great reyansh singhania is not ready to accept it. Happens. He is still in initial stage, crazily confused state where he doesn't want to accept anything. Saw the time, it's a lunch time. Immediately rey picked up his bag and starts running towards canteen thinking ' kriya must be there'. Stops in his track for a moment and starts scolding himself going towards canteen 'phir se kriya? Riyansh singhania, what's your problem? Morning se sirf kriya, kriya and kriya. 3 hrs, yeah 3 hrs dude, you have spent 3hrs in playing basketball. Aur mila kya? Kuch nahi. Bas ussi ke barein mein socha all the time. Huh. Miss kriya ghai, congratulations, finally muje bhi tumhare category mein include kar hi liya na. I have become crazy. Just like you kriya. Urggg...huh.. calm down reyansh..relax. yes just relax. Huh ..breath in (he took a deep breath closing his eyes and when he did breath out and opened his eyes smiling feeling light, he observed that all the students around him were looking at him giving weird expression. Then slowly he realises that all the time from basketball court till now, (he was now at the canteen entrance)he said all those things loudly. And people were staring at him all the time) he changes his expression suddenly. Becomes serious looking here and there. Comb his hair with his hands and enters canteen as if nothing had happened with him.
As soon as rey reached his friends sitting in their usual spot in the canteen, near canteen counter where all the students come to take their food, saw kriya waiting there near his friends. Out of blue, sorry, out of mind, irritated rey asks her
Rey : tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?
Kriya who was standing facing back towards rey, turns and see rey standing behind and asking stupid question, gets irritated. She was already in a bad mood
Kriya : karate seekne aayi hoon. Aapse matlab?
The people around them giggles. Rey observes that.
Rey : what? Teek se jawab nahi de sakte ho tum?
Kriya : main teek se jawab doon? Canteen counter ke paas khade hoke kya karte hai log yahan REYAAANSH? She got more irritated this time.
Rey looks around and then at kriya, who was fuming now. So clearing his voice,
Rey : okay okay. It happens. Dekho tum,
Kriya's food was served so she saying a thank you, took the tray and turns only to find rey trying to say something. She shaking her head 'please rey not now. I am already upset today. Please' saying she left from there to join her friends in a other corner table of canteen.
Rey's mind only took the word 'upset' from the whole scene and starts working on it immediately. The reasons for "upset". He knew, kriya is upset because of him. The way he behaved in fire escape and the way he left from there. Thinking all that rey sits with his friends and starts munching food thinking how to make kriya's mood right. He is the reason for her being upset so it's his responsibility to make her come out of that mood he thought.
Vishaka comes to the counter at that time and orders chocolate cake. Sharon seeing that asks "hey vish. What's the matter? Chocolate cake? For kriya? Is she upset?"
Actually chocolate cake is kriya's weakness. If she is upset or in bad mood, give her chocolate cake, she will forget everything. Her lost smile will definitely comes back seeing chocolate cake.
Vishaka : yeah Sharon. Actually today sir reminded her of her poor marks in internals and told her at least prepare well for finals. So she is upset.
By that time chocolate cake was served so saying "see you later" to Sharon, vish left from there. Rey's whole concentration was on sharon-vish convo. Rey's mind already started working towards what to do with kriya's internal marks? A idea pop up in his mind. So he finishes his lunch fastly and was about to get up to leave from there, he saw kriya enjoying her favourite cake forgetting all her worries and bad mood. He smiles at the sight. He realizes that he is staring at kriya only when his gang starts clearing their throat. But when looks at them they pretend as if they are in some deep discussion, blabbering whatever comes to their mind, all at a time. Rey shaking his head at his friends behavior, leave from there.
Rey is been waiting outside principle's office from past 20 mins. It's a lunch break so the peon told rey to wait till princi finishes his lunch.
Kriya was about to enter library after spending nice time with her besties neha and vish, who succeeded in changing kriya's mood, kriya's cell beeps. She checks the msg and it was from neha saying HOD had called the first sem students for some emergency announcement. So kriya goes to her class room.
The announcement was golden opportunity for kriya. HOD has announced that the students who have scored average and below average in internals, will be given a chance to score well if they want to. On each subject, the list of most toughest chapters will be made and students can take up one chapter out of them and give a seminar and clear all the doubts of the class. So based on performance, upto 5 grace marks will be added to that particular subject of that student. Like that you can give seminars on all those subjects in which you have scored less and will get the chance to get upto 5 grace marks. Kriya was the happiest student in the class after the announcement. In excitement she immediately tells HOD her thank yous. But HOD tells the class that, it's not management's idea. The senior student Reyansh Singhania convinced principal on this saying he has seen many students(boys) talking about their poor marks in boys hostel yesterday. All the juniors praises rey.
It was 5 pm in the evening. Final year's last class of the day finished. Rey usually after the class goes to a bench which was located next to final year class rooms building. When they come outside the building, one side of the building, there is a sharp slope of couple of foot and down there, there are few benches in line. It's a very beautiful and silent place. The slope contains trees everywhere. Rey spends some time there regularly studying. He loves silence and only slow music while studying. So after classes, it's his routine to go that spot. Putting headphones playing some silent music, he studies.
But today rey was exhausted due to playing basketball for long time so he said swayam vicky and Bharat that he will also return to hostel with them today. Not in a mood to study. They all comes out of the building and were about to go straight towards hostel, rey's cell beeps. He checks his cell, rechecks it, and just to confirm he wipes his mobile screen slightly with his thumb and checks it to confirm has he really received a msg from...kriya.? It's first time she messaged him or tried to contact him.
Rey opens the message and grins. Next moment rey was running towards the slope, towards his regular spot.
