Gunjan and ranvi came to meet Balveer, Balveer was having
breakfast sitting on Veera's lap.
Gunjan; booboo, mera sona baby, aaj chalega bua aur mamoo ke
saath ghoomne.
Balveer looked at Veera innocently,
Veera; jao na sim, bua kitne pyar se keh rhi he
Balveer; but mom, aap bhi chalo na
Gunjan; chad na mom nu, humare sath chal na booboo, mom ka kya
kaam humare beech
Veera; jao na sim
Balveer; okay mom.
Veera packed some stuff for him.
Veera; veerji, ise bahar ka kuch mat khilaiye ga
Ranvi; main dhyaan rakhun ga veerakhdi, tu fiqr na kr.
They left, Veera was worried a little but she consoled herself that
ranvi was there.
She went to her room and was setting the bedsheets when he heard
baldev.
Baldev; (his voice was coming from the bathroom) Koi mera towel
laa do.
Veera; kahan he?
Baldev; menu nhi pta
Veera; uff
she started searching, she opened the cupboard, everything was
here and there in his side of the wardrobe, she somehow managed
to find it and knocked on the bathroom's door.
Baldev opened the door and took the towel from her hand, he
closed the door quickly. Veera was going out of the room when she
heard Baldev's cry.
Baldev; aahhH!
She ran towards the bathroom and hurried into it, (baldev didn't
lock), Baldev was in a towel, he was holding his arm, Veera slipped
as the floor was wet and fell into his arms, her hand hit the shower
tap which let the water flow. Veera was in Baldev's arms they were
staring at each other, the water flowing on them. Veera felt
awkward, she was all wet in her almost naked husband's arms in the
bathroom.
Veera; tenu (she said hesitantly) kya hua?
Baldev; han? han kuch nhi wo zara si chot lag gai thi.
Veera; acha!
he didn't leave her so she pushed him and he fell into the bath tub,
which was having some water. He moved out of it quickly and
pulled her by grabing her arm and pinned her to the wall, her face
towards the wall. He moved her hair and kissed her neck and then
her back.
Baldev; tum to waqt ke saath aur ziada khoobsoorat hogai ho meri
sherni.
He turned her and came close.
Baldev; man hi nhi bharta
Veera; Balveer ke papaji
Baldev; kahiye balveer ki bg
Veera; aap apne wastr pehen lijiye warna aapko sardi lag jayegi (she
pushed him and ran out of the bathroom quickly).
Veera changed her clothes and dried her hair, Baldev came out, his
shirt was open and Veera was unable to take her eyes of his chest.
she turned her face.
Baldev; keh de
Veera; kya?
Baldev; yehi ke me aur hot hogya hun
Veera; menu to esa nhi lagta
Baldev; acha!..chal koi nhi kisi aur kudi se poochunga
Veera;(in anger) khabardar jo tune (she turned so quickly and
bumped into baldev, she was about to fall but he caught her again)
Baldev; haye meri sherni, jal rhi he
Veera; Baldev chad menu.
She was struggling when they heard Balveer's voice from outside,
Baldev left her and stood to a side. Veera left the room, Balveer
looked very happy as he stood with Gunjan.
Balveer; mom (he came running to veera as soon as he saw her)
mom mene bohot maza kiya, we took rides and saw a puppet play.
Veera kissed his forehead and smiled.
Gunjan; acha veera ab me chalti hun
She left, Balveer told the story of his outing multiple times to Veera
and Baldev, then he told it to Bansuri and Balwant, he tried to mimic
the voices of puppets and everybody laughed at his cute gestures.
At night Veera noticed that Balveer had fever, she woke Baldev up.
Veera; Baldev dekho ise bukhar ho rha he
Baldev; doctor ko bulaon?
Veera; nahi ho skta he subah tak theek hojaye, abhi wese bhi so rha
he.
But his fever did not subside, and in the morning he developed
diarheoa too, Baldev called a doctor who gave him a sachet of ors
and some fever relieving medicines, but Balveer didn't improve
much and his condition worsened, he was unable to eat anything
and was getting weak, at last they had to take him to the hospital
where he was admitted.
Veera; doctor kya hua he isse, please bataiye mera beta theek to
hojayega na
Veera was crying badly, she was unable to stay composed , she
couldn't see her child suffering.
Doctor; haan ghabraiye mat sab theek hojayega, abhi inhe drip
lagani hogi ye severly dehydrate ho rhe hen
The nurse brought a cannula, Balveer got scared
Balveer; (in a weak low voice) mom, dad, no injection, plx
Veera caught hold of him and hugged him.
Baldev; tu to mera sheru he na, dar mat kuch nhi hoga.
Veera and Baldev both flinched as the nurse inserted the needle.
Veera; kuch nhi hoga baby, aap theek hojaoge.
Veera kept crying.
Doctor; hamen kuch test krne honge, sab theek hojayega aap log
pareshan na hon, acha bache ne bahar ka kuch khaya tha kya pichle
kuch dinon me.
Veera; nhi to, esa kuch to nhi khaya isne hum ghar ka hi khana dete
hen
Ranvi and Gunjan had arrived too.
Ranvi; wo doctor sahab, isne thele ki chaat khai thi thodi si,
Veera was shocked.
