Yes, anyone can edit it but it is immediately corrected after reviewing.

I am not saying this news is true but I don't like how people keep on blaming wikipedia when it is one of the best source of information in the world.

But the fact that anyone can just come in and edit it is exactly the reason why it can't be trusted and viewed as a reliable source.
