Yeah... I am uncertain as for Barty as he did not have any hallow in possession, did he? The Cloak Of Invisibility was used to hide him..😕

Yes and he wasn't imprisoned for years.. He was initially but then his mom replaced him there.. So I doubt its Barty.. The only answer coming to my mind is Grindelwald.. He had the elder wand with him.. And the stone was with Dumbledore.. But before that it was with the Gaunts..😕 Hang on..

Now i got the answer.. It isnt't Grindelwald.. It is Morfin Gaunt.. He always did magic in front of muggles.. And he was imprisoned for three years.. And he confessed to attacking a muggle in front of Bob Ogden.. Pretty sure its him..
