I was just thinking about something, and I decided to post it here.
There are a lot of announcements/global announcements, sticky threads and what-not, that it really tends to clutter up the front page. Some forums, I realise, only hold like five new topics, because more than half is full of announcements and stickys - an example is the Fame Gurukul forums right now, which has a total of fourteen announcements/stickys. That's quite a lot. And for that reason, many threads are being pushed to the second, third and fourth pages. Some people don't even look at the second page - or if they do, they don't go on to the third and fourth, thus a lot of topics pass unnoticed by many.
The announcements and stickys are usually important, therefore I was wondering if the admins/moderators can do something to up the number of threads viewable per page, so that way we can have the announcements/stickys and still have a decent number of threads on the first page.
