When Karan Oberoi lost his lucky T-shirt

Karan Oberoi Mona Singh has reasons to worry about. On Saturday night, her boyfriend, Karan Oberoi (currently hosting Zee TV's Antakshri) was performing with his Band of Boys at a corporate event at a suburban hotel where women outnumbered the men and most of them got sloshed in no time. For the performance the Band of Boys was asked to take off their jackets. While the 'boys' performed with their T-shirt on, they thought it would be a great idea to invite the audience and involve them in the act. Little did Karan know that this act would make him lose his favourite T-shirt. The next moment some women in the crowd went wild and they reached for his T-shirt. For a shy and terrified Karan it was a tough act. He somehow got rid of the girls and left the venue to avoid embarrassment. Karan sheepishly admitted, "Yes, it did happen on that particular Saturday night. It was like mayhem. When we took off our jackets, we were performing in our white T-shirts. Then, the crowd of women rushed on the stage, got wild and they tore off our T-shirts. I just somehow managed to escape, as it was too awkward to stay there," he said. The actor-cum-singer is upset that he has lost his favourite T-shirt. "It was my favourite T-shirt with which I performed in several events for the past six years. I am very upset about losing my lucky charm," he added. Looks like Karan's girlfriend Mona will get to know of the disaster only after she flips through these pages. He has not spoken about the 'mayhem' to Mona who is travelling across Europe for her shows. "She is busy with her shows. I don't want to disturb her by telling her about such petty little things," he said.
