Did the show really become bereft for healthy discussions ?

Before I begin, I would like to alert that this is not to instigate any fan groups, wrt the characters , their looks, or acting prowess.
This is only a small attempt to still prove that if one wants to have a healthy discussion on the uniqueness of this show, there are many topics that can be taken at the moment.

However would like to begin with only one as of now., the way they have handled the entire child abuse track.

I normally keep my views restricted only to the AT, but today I was little pained, by some comments, that the BV forum is no more it used to be, becoz of diminishing quality of the show, which I vehemently deny.

Today,

Tutorial on good touch and bad touch - very nicely done 👏
Kudos to writers . The issue has been handled very sensitively and with correct approach.

Too bad, the forum will not discuss such topics and how BV as a show is way above other soaps.

How BV sets the trend on some issues, which are only copied by other progressive shows, later on.

Agreements and dis agreements on my opinion is most welcome.

But would request to please stay away from veering the topic to respective favorite characters and comparisons that ensue inevitably , as was seen from previous experiences.

This is strictly to comment on the merits as well as the improvisations that you may suggest, in the manner in which the CVs have handled the track.

Uma - thank you for the post
Truly said - if any serial had to bring up this issue, it is BV!!

Kudos the makers and writers of the show to have brought up the issue with sensitivity and spreading awareness on it. Am not sure how much in reality schools take up the initiative to spread awareness and discuss good/bad touch. But this is the need of the hour..

Wish the writers also involved parents in such education and not restricted this awareness only to children.. Infact involving parents and the entire community goes a long way..

That was a very good suggestion, Gowri.
Showing the involvement of the parents, of the school kids as well as the villagers, would have really helped in stressing the importance of the awareness that is the need of the hour.

In the city I live in, almost every day a case of child abuse is being reported in news papers, off late...that too from high end schools. It is indeed a very distressing scenario, and a burning topic.

How fast the show has come up with a heads up on the issue - it really amazed me.

And the point I was impressed with in today's episode is that, such monstrous acts need not happen only at places such as schools, but in the confines of your own homes !

Extremely impressed with the manner they have come up with this message.

Uma 🤗

BV proves they didn't show only Remarriages and Widow marriages name of Social Drama but handles many other topics like this Sex Education and Child Abuse.

Sex education still debatable whether it shd taught to kids or not...which is really sad.

In this Internet era everything is open to kids in such young age. Mostly they get wrong information about all this.

If schools conduct such things kids will learn it proper way with presence of their teachers and parents too

Kudos to BV writers showing such tracks and Director👏 who handles such sensitive topic in most decent manner

Very true uma

Bv is a flag ship show and past few tracks were just too good

Earlier the discussions were mainly on human psyche which is definitely very interesting

Nothing can be more complex than human mind
but what bv shows sets a trend for everyone

They dare to take up issues which others cant think

Kudos to the director for todays information on goid touch and bad touch

So nicely and innocently director has said everything,

Same way i would like to say about self defence episode

That too was handled so nicely and both were so informative

Here actors are not important, they have nothing to do with how they act, express but credit goes to the director and writer how they successfulky conveyed the message

Take a bow bv cvs

I think show is not so drained up that there cannot be healthy discussions on it There is still a lot of scope on healthy discussions It depends on us how we do it Sadly we members do not much that part i accept We are too involved in fan wars We all are but its also not necessary if members counter in opinion with someone it means it is only fan groups commenting

I am yet to see today's episode but people are saying cvs have done good job in displaying the tutorial on good or bad touch to children The message was quite logically given so see BV is not over Such tracks are USP of this serial and its true essence and it is being still there Their purpose to create social awareness in us This too happens in real and they are still doing through their tracks If they keep introducing such tracks as part of leads lives then i dont think this show is over

Regarding if they show some tracks like MLA fighting goons ( they did it quite logically though His plan was good not too filmy ) collector fighting , social worker fighting then this is done for entertainment They want to attract viewers Pull their attention towards their show and this is over all fiction show A drama made to entertain viewers and airs at prime time when tired viewers tune in TV to relax In that time they cannot be preaching viewers right and wrong but are they not creating social awareness ? Does land mafia not exist in real? If we want healthy discussion can't we pick the issue of land mafia ?

i accept sometimes they go over board many tracks are not rightly presented and currently this Gehna Niranjan story is boiling blood of viewers but social awareness and healthy discussion doors are still open in this show

Just my few cents no offence sorry if anyone is offended

@Bold: But what does this mean actor's acting doesn't matter😆. To make a good track or scene, everybody's work should be up-to the mark. Anyone fails also the scene would be affected. How come acting doesn't matter?

Such attitude makes good discussions impossible in this forum, otherwise BV has good topics of discussion always.

I think you have taken it wrongly

Fan wars mainly starts becoz of the gushing over actors, this is applicable for all the actors and their fan grouos.

But here when i mentioned abt two specific epusodes where there is hardly any drama that they have to express any specific emotions , but in these topics they are so real that they have to just be themselves and its definitely credit of the directors how they present it so that they dont look like a documentory

sorry Uma like button i have tried nth time for your post but each time stucking
Good Topic

As answer for your question in topic

I 'll be honest at one time i too thought BV is only going here and there it has lost the grip but seeing this Jhoomar 's track and today's episode cvs changed my opinion There is still a lot of real issues and things to have a healthy discussion

Today's episode that tutorial part was well done

However i will differ with susmita on actors part because i think if actor does not matter only director and writer matter they will themselves come instead of actor and preach viewers Can they do it not at all ? I have never seen any child in real life being abused like that and i wish i never see No child should be abused like that but that little girl and her brilliant acting pulled my heart out and i can understand how such children go through in real Similarly today if actors won't express properly No one will be interested An actor captures the interest and glad cvs used leads to convey message not some side character Same if Sanchi or Niranjan would be doing i guess most of viewers might not have seen it An actor does matter A team matters Good writing , good direction , good acting If anyone will be faulting The purpose won't be 1/10th impactful in tv serial even in film so kudos to the team of three actor . director and writer

Credit should be given to the actors also. If anyone feels there is nothing great in their acting worth mentioning, you can just credit CVs and leave out actors like others have done. But acting is not needed comment was not appropriate in my opinon.

I believe not just drama even if its real scene, it is acting. Being yourself infront of the camera is also not a easy thing. Gushing over actors unnecessarily and giving credit when they do a good job is different.(i don't mean if you have praise actors always. I mean i myself praise even my most fav actors only when there is something exceptional😆).

Also we call directors and ppl behind the scenes as Creatives, but aren't actors bringing out it on screen part of the CVs?
