Raman Bhalla's journey

Raman was a simple guy married to shagun , he believed that for a successful marraige being honest and a loving husband is the recipe. He stuck to it but all he got in return was worst form of deceit. His wife had different ideals and she left him for that. To prove to his wife he set out to become a successful man, he wanted to show her that he can be what she thought he is not. His wife's departure symbolised that the ideals that he was bred on till date are false and all it mattered was to be successful. He lost himself in becoming successful and in showing to his ex wife he can be what she thought he was not. He neglected his daughter, who was his world...

Enter ishita, who started to remind him his very ideals, which though irked him but real Raman started to resurface again. That's why he chose to marry her under those circumstances. The deal for marraige was that she would remain his daughters mother. Slowly Raman rediscovered himself... He saw in her a lady who can unconditionally love his daughter, family and cared for him...he developed respect for her that progressed into care, then love and eventually he started to find himself physically attracted. Ishita too found herself falling in love with him and she was getting affected by his overtures but she wasn't sure where she stood in his life...

Raman was jealous of ishita's friendship with mani. The comfort that she shared with mani she didn't share with him. He longed to be loved by her, but they hadn't yet shared that comfort with each other...an awkward strangeness persisted. Post karwa chauth the lies that ishita handed to him, happened to be replay of his ex-wife's deed.. He has been subjected to this before and what he witnessed there between mani ishita was the final nail in the coffin...his brain stood numb...he froze..what did he do to deserve this again...when he didn't do any ugly deed ...his ideals crushed again...shagun's words stood true his wives leave him for more successful men..he isn't capable of love...mind is such a thing that it starts joining dots and falls into the loop of what has happened before...and then we started seeing two Raman...

One Raman who acknowledged that his wife is ideal and loves everyone and has selflessly done everything for the family and the other Raman who started finding the reasons of why his wife chose somebody else over him...in his drunk state his subconscious mind wants to try everything to keep her...he is possessive of her and does not want to loose her, coz he loves her the most. So it was that desperate want to keep her with him after all that is what he didnot give her in this marraige...a complete status of wife..

In his drunk state he unleashed himself completely infront of ishita that he didn't want this marraige to fail and that he loved her and if this is the reason that led her to seek solace in somebody else's arms then he will provide that as well... Their physical distance remains due to ishita as well...she chooses it that way and he respects...when the bed broke and Raman slept next to her she yelled after seeing him next to her...he assured her that he doesn't plan to do anything to her ...he respected what she chose...but her deceit to him is unfathomable...so the words adhi duniya tum he Raman bhalla ke biwi ke naam se jaante hai and then followed shagun's words that everyone also knows her deeds...it is the hurt of worst kind that he is experiencing for the second time...

Let's see how he deciphers what ishita's love is for him...and effect that shagun's deceit has over him how he overcomes only then will he be able to see ishita and her love...
