no, we have no answers to this! i did not watch too closely at the beginning, there may be some dialogues from sarla & pragya's daadi that leave open the possibility that he left/abandoned them rather than died. either way he's just not in the picture and sarla is said to have raised the girls on her own.

I don't remember exactly of he died or he left, but we all sort of assume that he dead.

I don't think it was stated clearly. Do they have the dad's pic at home? Probably No? Feels like he abandoned them.

He would have betrayed them because yestaerday again there was a instance when Sarala was asked about Karva chauth. All faces were sad so something happened the story will come later
