Why did Sonali ditch Gautam for Upen? - Page 5

Are we watching the same show? Gautam clearly ditched her even after when she begged him to be with her through sign language. She wanted to latch on to Gautam for his popularity but that guy is very clear about his game and decides to forever latch onto his victim card.
Going by her body language, I observed that:

1. She wants to use gau for his popularity but actually dislikes him. I mean, who would want to romance that immature weirdo? But, given his popularity, she had no choice. But Gautam, although an weirdo, was smart enough to be not to be used by her for footage.

2. She has a crush on upen. I mean, who wouldn't prefer this suave, sophisticated and accented handsome guy? But even he didn't give any bhav to her( probably bcoz of soni's influence). Now that soni is gone, upen and Sonali latched on to each other for footage.
