Hey guys.. So this is a really short OS based on last night's beautiful 2-minute IshRa scene. Its more of a rambling so I'm not sure if it makes much sense, but here goes.. 😊
The Reality
Sometimes, the emotions that an unexpected shower of rain invoke in me, surprise me.
I look through the window and feel the chilly breeze caress my face, sending waves of warmth through the heart.
I see beauty in the darkened sky and purity in the little drops of water that fall from it.
I feel a tingle in my damaged soul, as if the mere sight and smell of the rains hold the power to heal it.
I feel goosebumps rise, as the fall of the raindrops on my skin reminds me of her touch.
I feel numbness in my mind as the gentle winds smooth the creases of my heart...
I wish the rains would never cease. I wish time would stand still. For if I tear my eyes away, I fear that the heat would burn my heart. I long to drown in this illusion, rather than be consumed by reality.
He collapsed on the bed, the alcohol in his system finally taking over his senses. He was grateful for the drowsiness that gave his grieving heart some respite, and gave in to it, hoping that the cries of his shattered heart would be silenced.
His eyes fluttered open, and he felt her beside him, on his bed. His mind vaguely registered the darkness in his room and he wondered if it was his fugue state playing tricks on him. She placed her palm on his face, and he snuggled into its warmth, his body finding the comfort it needed at her slightest touch. His woolly brain tried to remind him of the cause of his anguish, but his heart refused to acknowledge it. It only needed her. Finding solace in her proximity, he felt his pain begin to subside as he inhaled her sweet fragrance. Her gentle touch on his shoulder reassured him that his fears were baseless, and his doubts, unreal. He heard her whisper soothing words to him, and felt the burden in his heart lighten. And as he felt the last wisps of his consciousness slip away, he struggled to cling on to this memory, which conveyed to him that this moment was the truth; and her deception, nothing but a delusion...
