When Bulbul leads Pragya to believe Suresh is attracted to her, Pragya totally buys it although he never shows romantic inclination towards her. Even after Suresh rejects her, but later offers to marry her out of gratitude, Pragya falls for those words and gets ready to marry him again with dreamy eyes. It's only when she figures out Suresh clearly loves Bulbul, she gives up on him.
It was a clear statement that Pragya is gullible to love. She might be strong in certain matters but when it comes to her own emotions, she is someone yearning for love and affection.
Perhaps because of not having experienced a man's protective and possessive love in terms of a brother or father might make her yearn for that kind of love from a man?
And now she has developed soft corner for Abhi and is turning to somewhat aspire for his love despite his constant rejections on her face.
However with Abhi, she has stronger reasons to hope. She is her husband and their marriage has survived this far although it was not intended. While he declares openly his hate for her, he ends up being her biggest supporter when needed like in case of talking back to a lecherous man in the restaurant, assuring Sarla or fighting for KB hall. And he does get lost in her eyes, loves to bother her and at the spur of a moment in yesterday's episode, he even admitted he sees moon in her eyes which is the best proof of his emotions for her.
And Pragya knows how shallow Tannu is and how she would never stand by Abhi when times would be hard.
And the Bhagya or kismat factor is a huge evidence for Pragya as well which she believes in.But I guess, it's more the yearning that Pragya has to be cared for, to be loved, to be protected makes her fall for Abhi who is capable of doing it because he does possess a big heart. Pragya's emotions for Abhi seem misplaced when he blatantly tells her how he would never love her but it is Pragya's deep need for love that gives her hope, I guess.
