Revealed: Priyanka Chopra's first look as Kashibai in 'Bajirao Mastani'

Mumbai: Here it is! The first look of Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani'. The actress was spotted on the film set wearing a red Maharashtrian sari with her hair in a bun.

Priyanka previously gave fans a little sneak peek of one of her costumes for the film. In the picture posted, she was seen wearing an ivory sari with a detailed gold border complete with green glass bangles and gold rings.

The Bajirao Mastani' shoot was recently stalled as Priyanka came down with a case of conjunctivitis and was ordered to take complete rest.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film also stars Ranveer Singh, who had to shave off his mane for the role.

I think its not the complete look..
of wht i hv seen marathi ladies dressed, that nose piece and gajra is missing..

Right zeal, this is quite good and nit as bad as I had thought. But the nath/nose ring and the gazra is missing but she is looking utkrusht! 👍🏼

There seems to be stuff missing from her look.
She'll look gorg after addition of the accessories.

very simple.. seems SLB finally understands that he should focus on story and not glits and glamour...but this look is without ornaments.. the other colors extensively used are green and navy blue.. i am waiting to see people in that look..her first pic with ring was amazing

Here's the first glimpse of Priyanka Chopra's look from director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Bajirao Mastani.

In the movie Priyanka Chopra plays Kashibai, the first wife of Peshwa warrior Bajirao in the early 18th century India. Ranveer Singh plays the role of Bajirao. Deepika Padukone plays Bajirao's second wife Mastani.

Priyanka Chopra had earlier shared a photo of the royal bangles and rings of her character Kashibai. (check it out here)

Now, she has been spotted on sets in a Marathi sari.

Ranveer Singh has already got his head shaved for his role of a Maratha royal in the movie. Deepika Padukone, who will also undergo a radical makeover for the film, is yet to begin shooting.
