'Women are crazy for Shiney'

Shiney Ahuja's publicist and spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar is a bit concerned these days over recent media reports about the actor's alleged attempts to woo various women, including co-stars Vidya Balan and Kangana Ranaut and director of film Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow, Ruchi Narain.

"Shiney is a happily married man with a beautiful wife. Such insinuations are nothing but a figment of over-active imagination," Dale rues.

He goes on to explain: "Shiney has a huge female fan following. Whenever I travel with him in his car, I see quite a few attractive girls pointing at him, waving, smiling, and even getting off their vehicles on traffic signals and knocking on his car windowscreen for autographs.

They click his pictures on their mobile phones and want to touch him. Once, a girl after taking Shiney's autograph, asked for a lift but was politely refused. Most of his co-stars are all praise for his super-cool demeanor."

In such a situation, why would he be desperate for women at all, wonders Dale. About the rumour that he approached Vidya Balan and she refused him, Dave says: "Vidya is his co-star in Priyadarshan's Bhool Bhulaiya and they share a fabulous working relationship; nothing more, nothing less.

They laugh and share jokes a lot. I have heard from sources in the unit that Vidya is quite amused with Shiney's wisecracks."

Shiney and Kangana Ranaut? "Now that would be laughing matter for me," quips Dale, before breaking into a loud laugh. At present, Shiney is shooting with Esha Deol for Kunal Shivdasani's film Hijack in Mauritius, while his wife Anupam is busy shopping in New York.
