Gul Khan just can't let a couple in love be Happy!

I was just thinking that what is happening on the show right now is Classic Gul Khan! In all her shows, just when you think all is well with the leads and their love life is coming on track, she brings a "twist" to ruin everything!

I didn't watch her show Geet, so I don't know what happen on it, but in IPK, just when Arnav and Khushi were ready to confess their love to each other, Arnav sees Khushi on the terrace with Shaym. He forcibly hugs Khushi and Arnav hears a part of their conversation. He misconstrues the whole thing. Then Shyam himself lies to Arnav and reinforces his misunderstanding. Then followed months and months of misery for the leads, and lots of screen time for Shyam and his sleazy antics. He goes on a rampage on many levels. It got really intolerable for awhile!

Then comes QH 1. ASYA were happy and even though they had not confessed, they were in love and about to get married! Then JANU fake SR happened. We even had to see Asad half naked with Billo draped all over him! Nightmare inducing scene! Zoya leaves, leads separate, months of misery for them and for us, while Tannu pretends that she is pregnant with Asad's child as a result of their one night stand! (Day stand)!

Then FINALLY, when things are good for ASYA, they have confessed, they are in love, Tanveer has been revealed, "Muqaddar Ka Khel" better known as ZOYAAN, better known as Disaster that ruined QH1 happened! Then again months of misery for the leads and the audience. Some of us quit the show. (I did), and came back 2 months later and caught up again. But still we ALL got SO mad! Coz after 1 year, we wanted ASYA together and Gul took that from us!

Now in QH2, just when Aahil confessed his love and it seemed that Sanam was happy and also feels the same, Aahil wants to progress the relationship, and BHAM, classic GK happens again! Sanam and Seher get swapped and leads misery starts and our misery continues! This is only week 1! Can you imagine how much more torture is awaiting us, if GK's track record is anything to go by??

So MY question to GK is...WHY us?? Why your loyal viewers that have been your "Humsafars" for years?? Why do you do this to us EVERY time?? Gul your a sadist!

None of her shows the couples lead a happy life. Be it leads, parellel leads or supporting cast. Every one have horrible married life.

VERY SIMPLE , QH is a daily soap . There is no HAPPILY EVER AFTER here .These twists and turns keeps the story going.😛 .

I get that part. But twists can be achieved without butchering characters and separating the leads all the time! That is not always the best way to achieve eyeballs! Especially when the audience has invested MONTHS watching the story of a couple fall in love, and then just when they are going to get a bit of happiness, snatch it away and start all over again! That is actually almost like Sadism where you enjoy putting people through misery, after making them fall in love and be invested in a story. It's like they are withholding what they want from the audience and enjoying their pain!

Good post Mandy, it speaks for all frustrated fans.

My take on her style of story telling is that she denies the fans what they want as long as she can and expect them to keep watching one BS track after another to keep the show running.

Also,there is a perverse pleasure in dishing out the very opposite of what fans are eagerly waiting for in the name of dramatic twists to shock them.

You are all waiting for AsYa's wedding night after the wedding,which we were led to believe would happen ,bcoz of Dilshad's dramatic challenge?You watch JaNu SR.

You want to know what happens to SaHil after confession?Watch Ahil shower his love on the wrong woman.
I don't think Ahil's romance with Sanam will have same impact when she comes back,bcoz,fans have already seen this side of him.That's why i keep away during the non-sense cycle in her shows.It totally ruins the magic for me.

I'm all for delayed gratification,but what are we forced to watch during the waiting period?Not what I'm interested in watching.

Agree, SaHil story can't go at the speed they got married.BUT should it be destroyed so badly to stall?

Gul has butchered Sunehri very badly. Can't Sunehri instead do some good while pretending to do bad?

Gul is disgusting in ruining romantic couples. In SG, she used to show a lot of irritating scenes where she used to plan to put down Suvreen to get close to Yuvraj. In one of d worst scenes in SG, Gul showed Suvreen kissing Rehan thinking it to be Yuvraj n dat scene was in Mahaepisode. on darkness. Due to dis, there is a little mu between YuvReen. In SG, Rehan had fallen in love wid Suvreen but on knowing dat she loves Yuvraj he backed out n ended up wid his BFF Ira.

I just hope Gul does not shows Ahil n Seher kissing scene.

Seher's character had so much potential which could be used properly in show. But cvs have butchered her by making her agreeing to act as ahil's wife sanam for money & pretending as sanam instead of showing her guilty they are showing her making fun of ahil's feelings. Seher was not like this when she was introduced. Even though a badass conwomen she had a heart inside. But since after Sehan breakup she is behaving heartless like tanveer in season 1. One of the best character got spoiled & buturched.
