Kasamh Se's Bani in Kya Haadsaa Kya Haqeqat
Prachi Desai aka Bani Walia (Kasamh Se) is set to appear onscreen in yet another of Balaji production Kya Haadsaa Kya Haqeqat. The show went on air two years ago before taking a break. Now it will be back on Sony in a half-an-hour slot this August. The show will retain its 'supernatural power' theme, and the plot is based on that of betrayal and revenge.
When asked about her role in the serial, Prachi said, "It's quite different, as the audience usually watches me play Bani from Monday to Thursday and will now get to watch me perform throughout the week, in a different character role."
"The role I play is that of a girl who fell into a bad marriage due to some fault in her horoscope with a thriller twist to ensue. I'm very excited as there won't be any saas troubling any bahu in this serial and I have never done such a role before. The storyline will include 10 to 12 episodes inclusive of horror elements," said Prachi. "My onscreen wardrobe even consists of wearing skirts and kurtis," she excitedly adds.
Prachi's college commences in 2 days time and she plans to shoot for the serial and simultaneously attend as many lectures in college as she can. She said the very same production house had previously assisted her in studying during her board exams.
The actress neither confirmed nor denied the rumors of her anchoring one of Balaji Telefilms' chat shows later on this year.
