140 crores net domestic is not a small feat. I think it was the high production cost and low content. They should have paid the scriptwriter more than their action director.

It's not how many multiples of the cost makes a film a hit. It's also how many people actually paid to watch the movie. 150 crores domestic net == a hell lot of people.

By your logic, if a movie made in 1 crores makes 5 crore should be a superhit. But should it really? Only thousands of people is enough to make 5 crores. That doesn't make any film hit/superhit.

I'm just applying BOI half baked logic. When a movie is made with a huge budget it's because the makers are confident it'll make almost double its budget. Usually when a film doesn't recover it's budget then it's considered as a flop so why is BB and JH given semi hit tag? Gunday made 72 crore (I think) which is a high number but it wasn't given a hit tag. So I just don't get this hit/flop tags. Different logics are adopted when giving the final verdict.
