Anil Kapoor scared of evil eye

Actor and now producer Anil Kapoor is one paranoid man. He is believed to have gone to great lengths to keep his film, Gandhi My Father under wraps and away from the 'evil' eyes of rivals for a long time. Before Anil came into the picture, the film was originally to be produced Yashraj Films and even director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had expressed his interest in it.

According to production member, Anil not only kept the casting under wraps, he also was very secretive about the schedule of shoots. He did not let on about the where the shoot was taking place or what was happening with the publicity material. It is believed that Anil even went to the extent of hiding the stills and press kit from everyone till the longest time. The actors were also sworn to secrecy and were not allowed to disclose details about their roles or talk about the film. According to Anil, all this was done because he wanted the film to be completed first and then talk about it.
