Today we got glimpse of Akbar's tantrums
Here are a few real ones
1) Once Akbar and Man Singh had a real fight in deewan e aam with both literally rolling on floor like a kushti match 🤣 I cannot imagine two adults both kings and relatives rolling on ground for a fight in front of all ministers and nobels 😲
2) Akbar once told Salim(who was a kid) to come into river where he was swimming. The river was in spate and Salim got scared. So Akbar pulled him and dipped him into the river many times another time salim went to harem to meet someone and when he was going out gaurds hit him thinking he is intruder and Akbar almost killed him with sword in anger. Matter to think is did not gaurds see salim going inside the harem why catch and hit him while going out. And how can they not recognize their crown prince in harem 😕
3) Everyone must have read that when Salim came back to attend his grand mother death ceremony Akbar slapped him for doing bhagawat in DEA behind curtains(women's area). This when Salim was 32-33 years old.
4) Once Akbar got so angry with a Rajvanshi prince getting his nephew to a meeting who was playing around that he flogged him and that guy humiliated committed suicide
5) The Priest who taught murad Bible mentions although Akbar loved his kids a lot he would punish them by raising hands on them. Indeed Akbar must be first parent in world to tell teachers to use rod if necessary on his kids in school. What would happen if he heard the 21st century rules of no corpal punishment 😆 No wonder all his kids drank themselves to death. Living in someone's shadow as per their wishes is tough. Yes it was 16th century where kids did what parents told them to do but still its tough
6) Akbar refused to see man singh for many months after he failed to catch pratap in battle of haldighatti
So real Akbar had anger management issues
