She was in coma at that time. Under pressure he married her. Karan accepted Tanya because Tulsi told him too. Then he felt obligation to her as she kept on crying about the sacrifices she's made for him and Bhoomi.

However, when she found out that Tanya sacrificed everything for her (as told to her by Tulsi) she left them.

This is like formula#44 in balaji soaps. Like many others #1 bring people back from dead,#2 multiple marriges, #3 saperate two lovers, #4 inlaws from hell, #5 all sister-in-laws live in maika, and mamy many more.I imagine that when they have creative meetings at the office they must be saying for ex, next week in kyunki formula # 25, in kasam se formula # 54.There must be black board with all the formulas numbered on it. All of the soaps have the same stories mabe a little tiny twist to it, but we love to watch them. 👏
