It's about destiny. How you want one thing in life to happen but something entirely different is in store for you. For example, Abhi and Pragya would have never wanted to marry each other out of their own choice, but circumstances put them together and they will figure out desitny's plan that they are indeed each other's Mr./Ms. Right!

I don't want to insult it by comparing it with the classic "sense and sensibilities" and humiliate it calling love and destiny...finding love in unexpected situations...
I don't understand what is the god damn story all abt...is there even a script and story in the first place?

the point is to entertain us by throwing together some unlikely characters and keeping them entangled with problem after problem after manufactured problem. so yes, delusional families, and lies too. but not the rest; that's just candy in the bowl, not the bowl itself 😊

story? yes, and as you said, it's the same ekta formula. mahaan heroine, problematic pati, long long long road to redemption, poor use of additional characters, misunderstandings galore, unions and separations, third party interference, big mistakes and big forgiveness...you know, the usual.

Show is all about keeping ur brains aside and enjoying.😆 The way we as Indian audience enjoy watching nonsensical Bollywood masala movies and make them blockbusters. We do not like watching sensible shows and the makers know it. There are some very sensible shows on a channel like zindagi but no one is interested and they have disastrous TRPs. Its only the masses who decide wat the content of the show will be and Ekta has an acute business sense.

I personally do enjoy watching no brainers.
