In the recent episode, we saw Akshara showing signs of illness as a result of the toll on her health taken by the unknown women who came to their doorstep demanding their Naksh's custody.
Naitik notices Akshara's ill health and asks her to take rest. However, Akshara insists on getting the chores done first. After much insistence, Naitik manages to get Akshara sit quietly on the bed and rest for proper recovery.
Meanwhile, at the Maheshwari mansion, Jasmeet expresses her desire to observe Karva Chauth fast for Anshu. But her MIL Kaki tells her that in their family women observe the Teej fast for their husbands. This disheartens Jasmeet but the next moment her in-laws gladden her by saying that they can adapt to Jasmeet's customs just the way she did for them. Kaki and Rajshri tell Jasmeet that the married women of the house shall observe the Karva Chauth fast for their respective husbands along with Jasmeet.
Jasmeets gets extremely happy to hear this and assures them to prepare for the festival in a perfect manner. She ensures all the things to be used during the pooja - right from sargi, to sarees (to be worn by the women) are perfect.
The Maheshwari women find Jasmeet's pursuit for perfection amusing and unusual. Yet, they allow her to do whatever she wants to.
On other hand, Akshara decides to observe fast for Naitik despite her weakness. Naitik prohibits her from going ahead with fasting but in vain.
Akshara gets happy when Devyaani gives her shagun and other things for Karva Chauth, much like her previous MIL Gayatri did.
Devyaani also prepares shagun for her son Naman's fiance Karishma oblivious to the fact that the girl will be faking the fast for him.
Karishma makes it known to Naman that she does not believe in fasting but will observe a fake fast for him. Naman, on his part, warns her not to let others know about it at any cost.
We're sure Karishma's secret will come out in the open before Devyaani. And if it really does, it will be interesting to see how coolly Devyaani takes it? Let's wait to know how the story moves ahead.
