Salman doing secretary’s film for free

The patriotic film directed by Samir Karnik (Kyu Ho Gaya Na) stars Sunny and Bobby Deol along with Mithun Chakravorty, Vatsal Seth and Tulip Joshi.
When contacted Vikas confirmed, "Yes Salman bhai is a part of the film and is being very co-operative despite having a very busy schedule."

A source close to Salman tells us, "It is a common practice that big stars often oblige by being a part of their secretary's productions. But very rarely does it happen that a big star like Salman not only acts free in the film but also takes care of his own travelling expenses and hotel accommodation. When a few days back, Salman was required to go and shoot with the film's unit in Leh, Ladakh, he paid for his own air travel and hotel bookings. Vikas was willing to pay for all this but the beefy actor told him to relax and get going with his shooting schedule."

The source adds, "Salman likes Vikas very much and he is now like a family member for him. In fact in one of Salman's movies released last year, Jaan-E-Mann, where Salman played the role of a struggling actor, he was shown on screen talking on his phone many times to his secretary and referring to him with the same name – Vikas Kapoor. These were the last minute additions he had done himself while on the sets."

Well, Vikas Kapoor must definitely be telling it to one and all that Mera Salman Mahaan.
