I am so fed up of the housemates using the whole "but she is a girl...i would never do that to a girl...it's different because she is a girl blah blah blah" OMG. It's 2014 (ALMOST 2015... in like a few months). Whatever happened to GENDER EQUALITY, people? Such useless tactics needs to end. Housemates needs to realize that they can't just pull the gender role card out of their pockets whenever they want. The bloody card needs to be lit on fire, to be honest. Do they not get that by using such phrases they are in fact insulting women?

PRs must have MISINFORMED the men (and women) in the house that by using such phrases they can be loved by audience and somehow be portrayed as a "independent/strong individual" or a "hero"... UMMM NO. Honestly, the more these housemates use the gender card excuse, the more I lose respect for them. 🤢

Please HOUSEMATES, Stop. It's useless. Annoying. Very insulting. The men in the house need to stop acting like they are the protectors of the house of "abla naris" and the women in the house need to stop acting like they are ALWAYS the victims. It's bull.

*Love and Peace*

I agree .. however who created this so called difference?? the contestants may be using gender card just for petty issues to further their own agenda ... but we cant overlook tge fact that thus clear distinction being echoed by them is societal standards, like it or not 2014 or 2004 this same issue has remained!

Completely agree. it shows the societal upbringings of the cast mates (and people alike). it's sad that we have progressed so much, in terms of education, technology, etc; yet some backwards thinking and gender inequality still persists in some (maybe, all) societies today. hopefully, we all can strive to bring a change to that nonsense. respect ALL genders equally, or not at all.

Gender equality takes a toll even outside the show.
Take yesterday's episode for example where we see Rekhaji all over Big B even now! 😕 She was commenting constantly indirectly! No one can object!

Now imagine the same to be done by Salman Khan for Ash now? Is it possible? 😊 The dude is strong but he will definitely gather atleast some criticism. But for a woman to act like this, everyone jus ignores it 😊

I agree with u .. its blatant stereotyping ... proof is the amount of topics created on rekha today!

im not defending her actions on show .. but theres a limit also to how much ppl speculate on her relation to AB, n fact is apart from those two nobody knows truth!

n if salman did similar, gosh we would never hear end off it!
