Does Dev really love Nitya?

Really I doubt.does true love only start&end with the face?if Dev were so much in love he could have easily guessed that Durga is none other than Nitya in disguise.

well dev loves nitya no doubt but to guess and identify that she is nitya one need to have calculative and powerful brain and dev is naive, b dumb character , when evil cunning sakshi could not able to find out then how came dev can??

No need of calculations. Simple why will anyone care for a rape victim unless she is family- us returned Dev is really brainless

I dont think there is any reason he should have guessed Nitya is Durga but he should have calculated that every action of Durga is planned by none other than Nitya herself.

. Dayal has literally created this Durga. He worked on her speech, her style , her moves everything. She no where resembles Nitya except for the fact that she is so concern about Payal. Besides this Durga Thakur has a concrete background. Dev also did the background check like Sakshi and was also suspicious of her which was later flushed down the drain. Also after that Shekhar Mehra incident there was no reason to doubt Durga.

Dev and Shaurya are only same in this regard. Both of them never calculate the repercussions.


Dev literally has no plan for future. He never had one even when he was in India. He has plan for the present because he never made one.

He loves Nitya so Nitya will wait for him for two years to get proposed.

He could not make it in time so the girl has to be alive.

He will marry his driver's daughter and no one will object to it. It will be literally maske jaisa.

He will marry Durga to find Nitya and dump her to marry Nitya thereafter. Nitya will obviously like to marry a divorcee.

He doesn't need to make a career. He is a Goenka and that's enough

Revenge is for the future in laws of a Goenka and against the Goenkas and also against the current in laws of a Goenka which will be done in the Goenka household around all other important and less important Goenkas by a very good, nice, kind, naive etc Goenka. Well, someone has to be a witness to the hard work he is doing. What can he do if someone from the enemy camp overhears him or keep an eye on him ? Can't you guys see the whole story is full of large or small kind of Goenkas ?

And many such weird ideas when put together gives you a DEV GOENKA!!!!

If it was true love then Dev would have identified Durga. Payal points towards her when he talks about Nitya. Durga cries so much for Payal, leaves everything else for Payal, knows familiar things about Dev, often lands up at old house. So why can't he join dots? Plus true lovers that too lovers from childhood have innate connection no? Why is it not here?

Dev feels Nithya in Durga. When he felt uncomfortable seeing Durga in Nithya he had come to the point that is he seeing Nithya in Durga. But he didn't delve on the feelings afraid that he is falling for another woman and not Nithya.

2 things block his view according to me first the mask and the identity of Durga that is created. And whatever she talks about Nithya she has that diary referred to. That diary has missing pages which Dev feels Durga tore of.

Second is that birth mark which came out in Sekhar Mehra epi. And the way Durga reasserted her identity.

Now if that is not enough Dr Thakur has told Nithya is alive so that means Nithya is somewhere else.

His only problem is Dr Thakur told him whatever is happening it is for Nithya. So instead of trying to understand what Durga is doing he is going on his own to prove I am great. I found justice for Nithya. I do not need anyone's help. I can do it alone.

Now coming to Dev's behavior currently. Both Dev and Durga are responsible for the same. When Dev went to question Durga on why she is marrying Shaurya she practically insulted him asking who are you to ask me such personal questions. That day Dev was genuinely concerned for her as a friend. It was first to Durga's house he went with the medical report and showed her. She told him not to cross his limits. From there it deteriorated. And in the last min Dr Thakur offered him a deal and then faked a heart attack.

So it is more like Durga used him to get into the house , so he can use her to get his love. It is more like there is no friendship between we both are using each other for our own mission. So let us remain like that.

Both are at fault. Durga shouldn't have insulted him when he was concerned. She should have handled him better. Neither should Dev behave to Durga in this way.
