Your arguments are valid. Kabir seems to be the culprit.

Kabir seems to be misleading his team and also Amrita.

The way he tortured Bobby and Vivaan is unforgivable.

But if Prateek had a hand in Kabir's misfortunes, why did not he recognise him?

The creatives need to give a good reason as to who the kidnapper is. Nothing we have saw from first episode until now justifies Prem as the Kidnapper...they can't blame it revenge for Prateek finding out about Prem's affair with Lavanya, or Trisha would of been kidnapped recently.

The whole Trisha mystery is where creatives have weakened...they tried to copy a Spanish show and it failed because of spoilers, now they are going down Kidnapping route and can't even do that properly because they allowed Trisha to go missing on first day. What is the kidnapper gaining from this ? No ransom is being made, Trisha is looked after...so what exactly is being achieved...the only person with a real motive that could fit into storyline what we have saw so far is Kabir is behind it all and he has a logical reason...

1 - His family were murdered by a Drug dealer

2 - Prateek as we know is an evil person, who to say he not the BIg Boss of all Drug Dealers and can do anything. Most Big Bosses like that are unknown to the cops, it smaller dealers who get Jailed.

3 - Kabir found out who the " Boss " was and instead of arresting him, he made another plan to make him feel the pain he did at losing his child.

4 - Kabir and his team always arrive to late at destination of where Trisha is and he says he wants to find Trisha but isn't trying hard enough, when Abhay suggests something or other cop, Kabir stalls them, he actually is very casual about this whole situation.

5 - Kidnapper has not harmed Trisha in anyway ...Kabir has no intentions of harming her, he wants Prateek to feel the pain of losing a child.

6 - He falls in love with Amrita...he wants his wife back so why not the wife of the main man who hired someone to kill his family...

7 - He suffers a Mental Illness that is not an easy issue to deal with and causes u to do some stupid things in revenge..

8 - Varsha could know about his plan and that's why was concerned about him falling in love with Amrita.

Now that is many logical reasons that would fit into the storyline we have saw so far since day 1 and since creatives decided to make it a kidnapping track, all Prem's clues are chocolates and vitamin pills
