Salman Khan made life miserable for the unit of Dollar Banian- a product which he endorses- during their ad shoot, sources said.
It began when Salman didn't like the script that was written. He rejected the script so many times that the scriptwriter gave up and finally Salman told someone close to him to write the script. After that Salman suggested that his friend direct the ad.
A source from the unit said, "When our person got the costume for trial, Salman came to see it in his ultra short shorts. He picked up the sample banian and rejected it outright."
"Salman then walked into his room got a box full of banians and ganjis and took out a flashy white Armani banian and told the guy standing there that he wants this fit and this cloth and the Dollar people could get their label embossed on to it."
After that Salman called his designer Vikram Phadnis and told him to design a banian for him. Vikram was busy doing some show at the time, the source said,
but dropped it and came to Salman.
Asked if the banian that Salman wears in the ad was designed by Phadnis, the source refused to comment.
