Inspite of a very busy day , Im chipping to write because today;s episode really really annoyed me. Not because I was expecting a lot...I do not expect a lot from this show. But the show revolves around women's empowerment , domestic abuse and narssism...all very serious and prevalent issues.
No, I did not have any problems with Astha trying to escape herself. Astha escaping would be a good lesson to NA. But A big time Clever Narcissist like Niranjan Agnihotri who kept the domestic violence in his family under the wraps, who cleverly convinced everyone that he is the good guy , who meticulusly makes sure his son does not his reality to the extent he got Powar killed...that Niranjan hired these small time cartoon goons from some 70s movie to kidnap Astha for two hours?? Exactly why would Niranjan not think of eliminating AStha or harming her more seriously..what does he have to lose?
We expect Niranjan to have much better brain. They already sabotaged Shlok's and AStha's character setups long time back, now Niranjan is also looking like a cartoon. His constantly telling Shlok to focus on the presentation and switch off the phone , he is so obvious that he is trying to keep Astha away. He is not even pretending to be bothered about Astha to fake it to Shlok!
Astha's antics with the goondas..sorry cartoon jokers, and her conversation with scootie uncle..was the most stupid and absurd screenplay ever, for a woman fighting a huge battle with an evil man like NA. Astha behaving in a funny and childish, cute way with Shlok is definitely watchable and lovable. But her antics today were not comedy at all. All she needed was a lift..she could simply say she was late for her presentation or work. The whole judwaa thing was so OTT.
And Shlok. Really by far he the most unheroic hero. From the beginning he abused her, then loved her, then abused her, saved her sometimes, and now when the real battle with NA starts..he is ready to swtich his phone off and just wait in mute for his wife to fight all the battles of the world and turn up there.
Madam on scootie VS three idiots in auto...Madam will override them and reach presentation.
She saved Shlok from the snake...that was real nice and convincing. Now she will save herself and reach..that would also have been palatable if they had shown her being kidnapped by goons who mean business. Her calling Anjali and Anjali calling police , tracking Astha, or Sojal calling Varad about AStha's kidnapping , or Astha escaping with injuries while Shlok refusing to do the presentation without her...all of that would have worked. Ofcourse best case would be if Shlok sensed her in danger and saved her...and realize that they are indeed in serious peril.
But no...they turned EBP into a cartoon show today. Niranjan really thinks getting Astha kidnapped for 2 hours is going to solve all his problems? Shlok really didnt bother to offer lift to his wife for the presentation after they spent the night together and she professed her love to him umpteenth time? Shlok swtiched off his phone like an idiot and then he is worrying about her..?? If she is in trouble how is she going to call him??
Insane...Insane. Hope this was just because someone in the Team wrote the story while sleeping..and they will wake up tomorrow. Don't spoil a beautiful show and theme and the great screenplay and acting so far with this kind of rubbish. None were in character today.
