Jigar also does not clearly say that he is never going to marry Paridhi and her father may take her back. Just when Pari says that she wants to stay back and try to win over Jigar, the Modi's or Jigar should clearly tell their intentions and send her away.

And Urmila if at all she wants to help Gopi, could have offered to host Pari and her father in her house till he gets well and they return back. This would also make sense because Pari is related to Urmila and not the Modi's.
