Marry go round: The daily soaps always market themselves on their efforts that they claim keep the Indian culture alive but even the most positive of characters on the show get married more than once. And in their defense, they say that the second marriage was necessary because they were earlier married to the wrong person and were justified in breaking an unhappy marriage to seek new love. Get a reality check, please! In which part of India are divorces so casual? Mona Singh was married twice in Kya Huaa Tera Vaadawhereas Avika Gor aka Anandi also gets married twice in Balika Vadhu.

Tfs.Haven't read the full article but what they have written here doesn't seem to be with proper homework 😆

Anandi's divorce was neither casual nor an easy task for her. She had to go through a lot of pain and her life was almost devastated after the divorce. Also after the divorce it took a long time for her to move on.

I don't think any divorces in BV are portrayed in as casual way as they are in other soaps.

first of all why cvs show married to wrong person in first place why cant cvs show marry to right person in first place , if cvs show marriage of person with right person in first time only then there is no need of many marriages of particular person

The story was about Balika Vadhu Anandi to tell the story of hers they got her married in childhood and to show her that her marriage failed because it happened at the wrong time to a wrong partner they got her married to Shiv.Which is what the story is about

I don't think the divorce was casual nor her falling for Shiv was shown to be in a casual way.

For that matter most of the marriages - specially the girls' marriages in BV none of them have been shown are shown in casual manner.It was shown to be like big decisions in life.

None of the girls in BV took marriage in casual manner not even Sanchi.

Thanks for sharing and true said Rushme , i don't agree with the article . It was not at all casual like other daily soaps . A went thru a lot and her life was really tangled . Even after divorce , she didn't happiness until Shiv happened to her .

@ Surabhi :- I agree with you but A was a victim of child marriage , so how the question of marrying the 'right person' rises ? 😕
If she was an adult and would've married J , that time we could've understand ...

here I am not talking about anandi marriages .here I am talking about general here I am not talking about marriages of balika vadhu I am talking about other than bv , here I am talking of those serials who show many marriages ofcourrse they cant show anandi jagya marriage succesful because by showing anandi jagya marriage successful that means bv cvs gloriffying child marriages but here I am not indicating to anandi marriages

that is why because of too many marriages I have lost interest watching daily soaps .it seems daily soaps story cant move story without too many marriages

Same situation here 🤢 and lol thats ri8 , the CVs will choose to axe the show but not to show a single sophisticated marriage 😆

Exactly! And that's how daily soaps run. Here Anandi's situation needed remarriage but for others remarriage is pre-planned and situation is brought in.😆
